The Arsenal captain last started a game in November 2014. Arteta vs Man Utd

seems wenger thinks the role is pointless

Do we feel that the longer Arsenal leave it to change manager the shorter time a new manager may get to win over the fans? Say if Arsene did leave this summer, Sanchez or Ozil or both left, they'd need a new manager, new star player/s to attract without CL football and a pretty much complete rebuild of the squad. Does a new manager get a couple of years to implement his play style and develop a new squad with say a couple of years battling for top 6/7? Or do we think the fans expect whoever comes in next to be challenging for honors within the next year.

I think a new manager will be given time.  If we pay the right money and offer the right wages, even without CL football, Arsenal are an attractive proposition for most footballers wanting to play in the PL.

What is needed sooner rather than later is for something to be said on what's going to happen.

We have been a going nowhere for so long now, I would happily have two/three re-adjustment years for someone knew to bed in. As long as he doesn't do a Southgate and just play the SameGame, I am prepared to see it get worse before it gets better.

He really must. Really don't care overmuch about trofes but I do care about crap football and quite a few games I've stopped watching this year. Fortunately between uni challenge and Broadchurch I only caught 15 mins of Mondays abysmalance

jesus ballerin was soooooooo dreadful last night. xhaka literally dogshit aswell, can't pass the ball. monreal too weak, mustafi average, gabriel a coward, elmeny not good enough for top 4. ozil is a coward who hides, walcott doesn't seem interested and sanchez been bang off form for last couple of months.

why did they change the strat of sanchez as striker? seemed to work good.

He's playing injured. Was rushed back from ligament damage when all the other right backs proved to be shit. Maybe that keeps the suitors away for another season  Cheesy

I heard this morning that Pep is planning a swoop for Sanchez to go to City.    I don't mind him leaving if he wants too as that's what's been rumoured for a while now, but it really does piss me off that we seem to be some sort of feeder club to Man City in the last few years.

Would rather he stayed of course.

Liverpool apparently prepared topay the asking price (£35m we are told) for the Ox in the summer. An unfulfilled talent isn't he

quite strange isn't it that they have Ozil, sanchez, ox and a few others all with expiring contracts at the same time?

could be a big squad upheaval whoever is the manager
