Isn't it part of being a fan that you are convinced you know better on a certain subject concerning your team than the people running the club and that you'll argue with any other fan about it when given the chance, but that, if a rival team fan says it, you'll call them a hater?

I spend most games shouting at Chadli, Lamela or Dembele. Plenty think they're good players and deserve to start. They all do my nut in. If two of them play, I assume we're going to struggle and I end up looking smug when I'm "proved right". Bit like saying "there's been a three on every flop today..."

Obviously, I cheer when they score and ignore everything I've said about them Cheesy. Great players.

Just part of being a fan as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you Tal.

That's fair enough Simon, there are players in this Arsenal team that I'm not that keen on too, Walcott for example, who I consider to be overpaid and over-rated.

I just don't get why a so-called fan would make 90% negative posts about his team during a season where they have a genuine shot at the title.

Despite your dislike of the above-mentioned players in your team I've not noticed you making negative comments about them.

I mean we're in with a genuine title shot this year, just won 2 FA cups in a row, paid off a new stadium (this is so underrated), have outclassed 96% of the league for so long, i don't even know the last time we finished below Spurs in the table... so how about we get behind Arsenal and Arsene and not gloat everytime something doesn't quite go to plan pretending we know more than he does.

Adz wouldn't get his fix of having a ruck.  That couldn't possibly happen as it is his main purpose of posting don't forget alongside saying things that are not rational, well thought out and logical like most of the other posts here.

Not really. I have an opinion. You express way too many of yours and expect no comeback, and too many are scared of the consequences of doing so. I think me having one doesn't require total derision as Tal said.

Opinions are like arse holes though.  Same in gambling.  Everyone has one and thinks it is correct and valid but only 2 or 3% of people's opinions are actually worth listening to in reality.   Wink

No mention of me son.  I just said 2/3% of opinions are worth listening to.  If you take that as you thinking i should be in that select band then i am very honoured you would automatically jump to that conclusion.  Many thanks.

I was thinking of this rather than putting you in the 2-3% bracket, but your massive ego seems to made you think otherwise. looollllzzzz

Again they are someone else's words not mine.  I can't control how other people view me.  Sorry.  Life is full of haters.   it is a very English thing.  Doesn't happen aboard as much.

I'm not worried yet but I do wish we would replace Mertesacker. He's played a part in us getting more competitive, generally has good positional sense etc but does get very easily exposed at times - especially if we play a marginally high line. He's not helped at the moment by Flamini having no idea how to play as a central defensive midfielder.

Overall though, think the lack of good cover for le Coq is a much bigger problem for us than Mert's qualities or otherwise

Agree with much of this although it's worth mentioning that Koscielny's lack of awareness played Costa onside yesterday exposing Per for that rash tackle.

I'm pretty sure Elnenny will play in the cup game on Saturday, which was probably the plan AW had mapped out for him as it would have been a trifle unfair to throw him in against chavski.

Considering we've been playing with a makeshift midfield pairing since Santi and Coq were almost simultaneously injured, added to that the fact that Alexis has been missing too, our return from those last eight games is not all that bad.
