I've been loving it! Had a brains week though, Lewis to hammer Norris (at last) and can't find a single bet on the Taylor/MVG game, think they've probably priced this one up pretty good. Kinda hoping Taylor would win but I won't anti-rail you Hutch  Haha, been a tough week for punters! I shouted at Phil as he prepared for the walk on against Barney 'Come on Phil, I'm on -4.5.' His reply; 'should have took -6.5, I'm gonna do him.'. He really does love the Blackpool crowd and they love him, but can't see him denting my MvG wheelbarrows. Haha that's amazing! |

Incredible Gurney could be 5th in the rankings next week. Like Dave says though outside the top 4 there is only a TV major between about 12-15 players from 5 to high teens, especially for the newer players with no money to defend from two years ago.

That just shows you how brain dead he is travelling up the M6 on probably the second busiest Friday rush hour for traffic (peak summer holiday season) going from Stoke to Bpool through all the Manchester M6/M62 traffic. How much does a hotel cost in Bpool nowadays? Incredible. |

Rankings now very interesting.... Phil now locked up his top 8 spot for the Champions League of Darts, if he makes the final he'll go back to world #6, and if he wins back to world # 4! The ramifications of being 4 instead of 8 mean that he'll get an easier run in the majors and likely hold his rankings a lot easier for the Worlds. He could easily have ended up down towards the bottom end of the top 16 and his swansong performance at the worlds might have been in rnd 3 against MVG/Garry... Who might he oust from the #4 spot - Adrian Lewis of course! Big turnaround Gurney could move up to world #5 with a win, whereas PW with a win can overtake Garry as #2, which outside being kinda cool doesn't make a massive difference. Would be somewhat of a fairytale for Phil to win this. |

I reckon MVG's missus gone into labour and he fucked the game off to get to the airport. His decision making was all over the shop from leg 1 right until the end. Why would you leave d3 when you got 146 left and Taylor not on a checkout? Among numerous other baffling decisions tonight by him.

Yeah, very odd, IDK if his head had gone with all his cocky "no one is trouble for me" stuff all the way through the week, comes out, starts badly, gets booed, loses his head a bit and falls apart? So odd, like he thought all he needed to do was turn up and he'd walk it? Whats Phil's issue with Wayne Mardle btw? had loads of digs at him over the years did I miss something from their playing days? |
