Durrant going to do just fine in the PDC. Draw opened up nicely for him and he took advantage before falling at the last.

Durrant off the mark. Pretty much guarantees he will be in every major TV tournament already.

Pleased to see a personal favourite of mine Van Den Bergh finally show some floor form as well.

He needed a run after going out in first round in each tournament last weekend. Rob Cross been playing lights out over both weekends and hardly anything to show for it.

some draw in the 4th round.  6 or 7 pearlers as first round proper games.  Looking forward to watching it alongside the heats of the Golden Sprint at Romford tonight on RPGTV.  Quality night of niche sport in prospect.

MVG not a fan of the South West.  Looks like he can't wait to get to Bristol airport to get home.

been a great tournament this, 1/4 finals are a nice looking set of games - Stevenson vs Price is the main mis-match Price on current form should win with 1 eye closed, fair play to mirror man who's taken advantage of some sub-par performances by bigger names and been good and steady but i think his race run here.

Other 3 games, I think the faves are justified but could see the underdogs getting a result in every game.

Think Cross @ 3/1 to win it has a snippet of value there, major doubts that Bully can last the day with his injury and Beaton a tougher game at this stage of the comp than Payne for me (as much as I like Josh Payne) so dont see why Bully should be shorter than Cross. Price a justified fave for every good reason an it's all priced in. Would like to bet Asp too wish I could get a bit higher than

Price 6/4 Betfred and Wade 8/5 for their premier league games next Thursday needs mopping up.  Both have to go off shorter based on this weekends performances.

40/1 Price for next years world's needs mopping up as well.  Price is a top 4 player on all known current form/results/scoring.

I love the business end of majors, always so much on the line for rankings;

2   Rob Cross   England   +£793,000
3   Peter Wright   Scotland   £573,250
4   Gary Anderson   Scotland   £557,000
5   Daryl Gurney   N. Ireland   £522,750
6   Michael Smith   England   +£500,500
7   Gerwyn Price   Wales   +£401,500

8   Mensur Suljovic   Austria   £396,250

Price, who I agree Arb is certainly in the top 4 in the world on current form, does still have a bit of a maintain to climb to get there, if he picks up a wi here he'll be on 490k~ and right in the thick of it, if he busts to Smith in the semis he's going to find himself a fair bit adrift, Mensur is hot on his heels too and some daylight between him and the big man would likely be well received! If Smith can pick up a win then he'll leapfrog into world #3, and thats gonna be a

If Smith can pick up a win then he'll leapfrog into world #3, and thats gonna be a good place to be come the back end of the year when cross has nearly £500k to defend! On the same train, in a year Cross has £600,000 to defend and a hungry pack chasing him, picking up £100k in the first major of the year would be an unreal start to the year, as he really needs to post some money this year or could find himself outside the top 10!

As for Nathan Aspinall, a win for him puts him in the top 16! Which would be quite the achievement, the semi final puts him in the top 25 and a final will get him really knocking on the door of the top 20, its a massive charge for him and I think he could be really really challenging for the a top 16 spot come the worlds.

Lots to play for, and its fun that 3/4 of them are guys making runs and not guys defending like usual. The PDC majors are so competitive these days and if you can put some results together you can really bomb up there.

great game.  Price put the kid bang under it and he responds like that.  Price had a million bounce outs tonight as well.  Far too many to be random surely?
