If you can take the 6-1 with Paddy on Exotic Guest 3.00 Car.

Now 4/1 on Paddy's.

Cursed at the moment. 2nd, went off at 10/3. Not quite sure why when you are drawn out wide you then tack all the way across, just to then tack all the way back, but who am I to judge?

Ho Hum. Lets save the run good for RA.

As work begins on trying to find some early Ascot value, I quite like the price on Balty Boys in the Hunt Cup.

4th in the race last year, well clear of the rest on the wrong side, he is now 3lbs lower. He spends a lot of time at Ascot and I suspect this will have been the plan for quite some time. He is a tidy 12lbs better of with GM Hopkins(last years winner) for a couple of lengths.

There is some 33-1 in two spots with Koral and 8ate8 which wont be around on the day. Looks enough to start the portfolio off with.

Certainly got there before everyone else and now into 14s generally. Once again, massively on the right side of things.

Need a change of luck, or could be my last bokked suggestion here for a while.

Britannia Handicap 17:00 tomorrow.

Impossible obviously but the Irish firm are going 1/4 first six for those who can (or who like betting £4.77 ew). 1/4 first five generally.

Fighting Temeraire is 14/1 with PP, 16/1 with Stoke and bfsb for five places. This for a horse that ran the 10s jolly Out and About to a length second last time out giving it a pound and with a hampered run. Dean Ivory in form (Labrisa Breeze just touched off today). Consistent horse and unexposed - only six runs, never out the frame. Third in a Newbury maiden on soft ground. Only negatives: drawn 24 and first time over a mile. Hold-up horse so will need to get a run but 16/1 is just plain wrong.

IMO.

I love these races so would love to hear the case for some others.

Ascot 2.30 Global Applause has rock solid form, and this big horse could well improve again, the ground is an unknown but apparently 'family' have done ok on it. Not a fan of Frankie but he loves Ascot and is riding well. 5/2 Looks to be very fair, any views?

Didn't shorten. Bit free early then nothing off the bridle. Back to 7f next time, I suspect. Disappointing.

Going to Haydock tomorrow. I am a complete mug punter with the horses so would greatly appreciate any and all advice.

I'll probably ignore it and knock it in after a few beers but I live in hope of not completely ironing myself out for once at the races!

2:15 Furia Cruzada 5/1
John Gosdens charge ran a good 2nd last time out, and should find the extra distance no problem. At 5/1 or higher I'd back it each way to avoid being ironed out. If you're in an all or nothing mood, it's a win only of course!

If any of Karl Burke or Mick Easterby's are being backed, have a speculative punt on them - both stables like a gamble.

Good Luck!

Thanks mate, much appreciated. I'll certainly have a little punt on it.

Continuing to run well and well backed, but 2 seconds including by a short head was as good as it got.

Me and my good lady were planning a weekend away and York are having an evening meeting followed by the Kaiser Chiefs tomorrow.

Im sure it will be a busy night and just wondering if any blondes have been to one of these and apart from the racing any views on what kind of set up they have for bands.

Any tips and fancies also appreciated.

Cheers
