Hamilton Races tonight. Anybody got any recommendations? Or do I stick to normal tactics (bung on a placepot & stay in the bar).

Simon Clare @SiClare now18 seconds ago
Cunco 33/1 for next year's 2000 Guineas with @Coral and 10/1 for the Chesham at Royal @Ascot 2016. That looks a big price to me!

Did Johnny Gee mention the Chesham afterwards? If so, take the 10-1 for TfT. Never be that price if he turns up. Gl getting on tho.

Off to Newcastle's first aw meeting tomorrow, I'm a guesser when it comes to horses normally anyway so tomorrow will be especially tough. Help please!

4:10 Wall of Fire. Formerly with Hannon, but now with Hugo Palmer, whose string is in good form at the moment, and this unexposed entry is making its handicap debut on its first run for its new stable. There's already been some market support, so now only 9/2 on B365. Last run was in a Listed race, so perhaps a more realistic target today.

Don't be surprised to see a pace bias as it's the first meeting on a newly laid surface. If the front-runner wins the first for example, flick it in on front-runners the rest of the way. Especially at the this time of year. Even Lingfield favours fronties when it's warm.

Lookfor genuine fast ground horses. With the recent bout of sun we have had in these parts Hamilton dry's out very quickly. That is what I have been told before by those that profess to know horse racing.
