It is now raining at York

Uh-oh, proper spanner in the works, that.

The BBC weather chappie - who presumably has a rainometer - says....

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain through the morning. During the afternoon the rain will turn more showery,

Quick quiz question

How many winners did Jamie ride over hurdles?

Bonus points for naming the trainer/s and the year (clue makes me realise how long he has been riding)

haven't looked at latest prices, it's been a while since I backed some of these...

Nakuti York 16:55                  50/1 e/w    just seemed a little overpriced to me
Dutch Rose York 16:55           14/1 e/w    like the course form
Waila York 16:20                    6/1  e/w    seemed solid , not getting beat far in good races and stays further
Bronze Angel York 15:05         10/1  e/w
Gabrials Kaka York 15:05         12/1  e/w    Bit of a sentimental bet , just like the horse too much
Cursory Glance York 14:30       3/1    win      lot to like about the style of last victory, not sure if this is huge value

The last at Wolver is one of the better "dirty" each way heats you will see.

A fav who should win but was outbattled last time (albeit good form) the second in Tinga which runs similar every time and should be improving slightly now with Beckett rather than Channon and most importantly 5 of the remaining 9 runners having third runs for a handicap mark.

An absolute no no if you want to keep an account but a corking each way bet if you are able, especially with De Sousa onboard who rarely if ever doesnt ride out for the places.

Thesen are better in shops right? rather then getting accounts closed online, which horses should i be looking at backing, in a goo each way race?

Help for a noooB!

Tinga the second fav looks the bet

And definitely in shops, the fact there are over 8 runners and hence 3 places (more likely 2 as the favourite will place) makes this even more attractive really

Just seen Reinman on Oddschecker has tipped Gabrial's Kaka and Markaz - feels like I've done my money already (He's not been in the best form lately)

Can't say ever I ever noticed him IN form.

On which note.

Chucking a couple of small ew darts at New Providence and Tachophobia in the first and a small ew bet on Island Remede and Azagal, also at monster prices. Sorry, left it  a bit late for big write ups as action about to start. GL all
