with cue card and thistlecrack taking out 80% of the betting market, the 2/1 Reverse forecast looks ok doesn't it?

i am surprised to see the inexperienced thistlecrack favourite

Was this Betfraud? If so they're now Evens. And if they opened 2-1 heads should roll.

it did open 2/1 yes. i meant to get on, forgot, forgot again and now you tell me i've missed it :-)

2-1 would be about right for one to beat the other in the right order.

Gotta love these loltraders when they can't copy off the machine.

Would want to be all over cue card for the king George
In a match bet with thistlecrack.

Also think MTOY is a player in the Xmas hurdle.
Yanworth and VVM's best trip is 2 and a half these days
And we know how sharp of a track kempton is. The new one isn't pacy enough
To win this over 2miles but if the ground comes up good
Or not too soft then I can see mtoy running a mighty big race at 11/1
Any thoughts?

Agree with you about Cue Card v Thistlecrack although the small field must help the novice somewhat.

I was looking at MTOY being value too but receiving 8lbs and getting well-beaten bt TNO last time has put me off. Tricky race.

Meh Cheltenham is TNO track and the hill and extra furlong helped
And the ground was against MTOY. Nicky has a knack of getting his ready for a big day.
Expecting MTOY to reverse that form

Meanwhile that 12/1 MTOY looks pretty healthy if you took some..

I keep looking at Ch'Tibello although some of his best form could be questioned - would probably prefer a drop of rain but I think you could say that about all of them.

Trigg hungry for action, so I took TC for a bullseye against him, and have backed Identity Thief in the 14:20.

Will probably punt a multiple of some sort on the day, once I see what the weather has done.

Yeah, I was thinking it's a shame Douvan didn't rock up a year earlier.

Getting ready for Gold Cup day already.......

I've always like Cue Card but......

Based on comments on the other thread, by those much less punty than I, if we are saying that Cue Card didnt run his race on Boxing Day, and he could beat ThistleCrack if they were both on form.....

Is the 20/1 1/5 1,2,3 with Betfairlyfair Sportsalmanac for Cue Card as apposed to the 11/10 for Thistelcrack a max EW bet?

Appreciate reasons if my thinking is flawed. Thanks.
