Great Live Update, as usual, Tighty, thank you, & also to DTD for sponsoring it.

That exit hand

A raise to 300,000

Somerville flats with Aces. Sneaky weaky

Randall shoves 9-10

the raiser shoves 8-4

and tom takes them both out when Aces hold.

There must be something in the air conditioning. Catnip perhaps.

Somerville 2.2m

Huh?Huh? Lol who was the raiser please?

Well done to my boy Jack! Boys comes good past his usual min cash Smiley unlucky HU. Saving the 1st for a bigger one. What a class act Wink

UTG shoved for 300k (8bb), i called UTG+1 (though I think it was short handed)
Sean had about 2bb left from the last hand and flicked it in on the button
The BB flats with a big pile of chips too

Flop comes T42 or something
BB checks, I bet 320k and bb folds

Yeah, thanks for Updates Mr Tight, always appreciated. Bit disappointed that Tomsom12 couldn't convert my charitable gift into something more meaningful. I will avoid playing 82 in future, and of course will keep my eye on the table for action preceding me.... rest assured folks when I go all in.... 100% of the time I have better.
Much Better.

Feedback on the tourn. Most seemed to think it was great. Enjoyed playing the day 1's, not so sure about day 2. 2 Bullets and 2 merged stacks meant I was confident coming back but the blinds soon levelled. Aside from the catnip in the air, i think the slow money jumps and relative low returns (unless in top 5) lead to my loss of concentration after a couple of long days play...

Wp to winner and other finalists.

Think I read on fb Jack had 88 v Simon.
v

Thanks Celtic, I appreciate that.
Sorry that I soiled a tournament update thread with a badbeat saga.  I may be old, been a blondeite for years, but I don't post often, as you can see.
Simon emailed me to berate me for this, but didn't get round to telling me what Jack held ... typical.

final table payouts are

1 £10,000
2 £5800
3 £3375
4 £2450
5 £1900
6 £1500
7 £1250
8 £1050
9 £850

It had 986 runners and paid 126 places (13%) £100 and up

Not sure what the grumbles were, but its a terrific comp for its buy in in terms of structure and guarantee
