The only thing stopping abortion reform in Northern Ireland is May's lack of political will,

Carmageddon. That’s what we’ll end up with if the hard Brexiters have their way.

Hard hitting article by one of UK’s most respected auto bosses.

“No Deal” threat that sounds “more hollow than ever”... “a threat that became redundant the moment Mrs May lost her parliamentary majority last year because the likelihood of it being acceptable to the Commons is minuscule” - says Telegraph in editorial

New ICM poll has Tories +3 on Labour (Con 43% Lab 40%) but don't worry about that look at this. Although 45% think Brexit will be bad for GB economy only 1 in 3 think it will negatively impact them personally.

I think that's easy to understand really. I earn more than I spend and any jack in prices won't change that.unless we become Venezuela I guess. Ergo..I would be happy saying no impact, even if the maths and reality showed I was impacted. The main thing is 350 m more into the NHS as I'm a sick note

"UK, 2016: "Brexit means Brexit!"

EU, 2018: "Brexit means Brexit."

The story of Brexit is of the journey from that exclamation mark to that full stop."

Good news! The government has abandoned science fiction solutions to the Irish border. Bad news! They've embraced magical realist ones instead:

I was just about to post 'When is Davis going to take the Northern Ireland border issue seriously?', but I see someone has beaten me to it.

This plan is the most bonkers so far - official government policy would be to turn a blind eye to cross-border activity, effectively moving the border 10 miles into NI. Sounds like a winner. Smuggling is already an issue, but is bound to become big business once the financial benefits increase. Now it seems the government is going to help get it going.

David Davis' latest Brexit plan didn't even last 24 hours. Because it's shit.

‘This is not proof that Brexit caused a deterioration of macroeconomic conditions in the UK, but the coincidence is remarkable.’

Extraordinary story leaked showing plans for No Deal Brexit suggest the UK would be hit by food, medicine & fuel shortages

but wait....no food, no medicine, no port of Dover is second No Deal scenario.  What on earth is the third?

Medicines? What a load of old bollocks, usual scaremongering. Working in that industry myself I’m telling you right now that the companies will have their shit together and be as prepared as they need to be to sort it.
