Yep people and communities don’t understand the issues that affect their everyday lives.

Their concerns are hilarious and their voices should be ignored.

It’s all very funny when you think about it.

So we hold a referendum to decide whether to bring back the death penalty

The country decide that’s not what we want to do

But we start hanging people anyway and the minority celebrate

Haha comedy

On the death penalty, the person the Blonde alt-right wanted to kill (Jodie Chesney case) is 16. Do you still want him dead now we know he’s a child?

I don’t want anybody dead

Well potentially apart from David Walliams who I find particularly annoying

There’s nothing funny about Brexit or austerity, they kill fuckloads of people, (Brexit probably hasn’t killed large scale measurable numbers yet but the economic hardship would of course and cancer tests have already been cancelled) it’s why they shouldn’t happen and much less importantly why people shouldn’t troll the internet in support of them.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-47462762

Every government department is cancelling work because of Brexit every day.

It’s austerity that causes the problems in communities. Thatcher was managed decline of of state/country/community to benefit business. Cameron was mismanaged decline of state/country/community to benefit big business. May is just a shambles but probably the worst of the 3, outside of DC’s incredible misjudgement.

I have written this and deleted various versions for the last half hour, but in the end, despite months of restraint, after the latest condescending one sided drivel, I can't  stop myself.

Kukushkin88, you are a fucking prick.

I shall now log off and expect a ban for a week or so, but my god it feels worth it.

What an irritant the man has become and a Grade A wanker.

It’s a shame you feel like that. I genuinely hope this political shambles doesn’t impact you negatively. Other than how pissed off you are with me of course and I can cope with that.

As a break from the usual who has has the most beers on a Friday night comp, here is Marina Hyde.

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/mar/22/theresa-may-tin-eared-lunatic-apologise-mps

It’s impossible to read about looming bog-roll shortages and not think, “Wow. We really do hold all the cards.”

FWIW, no way am I taking 1.02 on anything anymore, nothing seems certain right now.  May now into 1/2 on betfair to leave office before Brexit.  Tinned peaches as cheap as 33p at Tesco.  There must be an arb in there somwhere

It’s been interesting from a betting pov. I think lessons from Taleb have helped avoid some really bad spots. The number of times decent looking positions have been scuppered by extremely improbable and unprecedented events, the double deadlined extension the latest example.

Marina Hyde excellent as always.

fwiw; one pint of Guinness, I wasn’t winning (or even entering) the who has had the most beers on a Friday night comp.

Seems like a good spot for May to shift some more of the blame. She is properly religious, so it feels like there’s probably some chance she believes he can actually do it.
