'They could have had their Brexit by now had they really wanted it. Instead, step by step, lie by lie, they have torched soft Brexit, torched hard Brexit, and indeed rejected any concrete form of Brexit as a betrayal of some imagined "true" Brexit.'

Chris Grey on top form

"The Supreme Court judgment and its aftermath. My latest Brexit Blog post, including discussion of the judgement, how Johnson's reaction has successfully distracted attention from it, what difference the judgement and the reaction make to Brexit etc"

https://chrisgreybrexitblog.blogspot.com/2019/09/the-supreme-court-judgment-and-its.html

That's fine if you want to read a singular view but in terms of trying to pick the fuming and ranting from any worthwhile points.. think it's just too much hard work.

I don't like Farage or agree with his politics, but I have to say that he's very charismatic and a fantastic orator.

Correct & Jo Swinson is the absolute opposite. Trending on Twitter too.

She’s actually a far worse leader than Jezza.

Agree with both. Farage may be perceived to, but never uses bad language, overstepped the mark etc. Swinson just a glory hunter and shown it all way too soon.

2nd referendum scenarios

REMAIN v LEAVE NO DEAL
Remain 55%
Leave 45%

REMAIN V LEAVE W/MAY DEAL BUT NO BACKSTOP
Remain 55%
Leave 45%

Is in essence why Leave politicians want to avoid 2nd EURef

Signif no. of Leavers -wary of no-deal and loathe May deal- "wouldn't vote" or "don't know"

YouGov Sep 20

Surely that polling means if the first question is remain v leave then and the second question is no deal vs may deal. Leave wins the the 1st question comfortably?

Have you looked her up, she comes across like him; all bullshit, no sustance.

Here are her companies

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/3BeQkJuV6DnuXTZfRDaXFMqaI1Y/appointments

Analyse the comany's accounts.

Here she talks about what playbox does.  #Invalid YouTube Link#  Given that the company didn't seem to spend any money, and was shut down rapidlly, then it is probably safe to assume it was just hot air.

Innotech seemed to fair better  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrnAvaaWwyQ9iksLPM_0ZuQ.  But wtf was Boris doing rocking up to so many of her presentations?

But look at the balance sheet in the 2018 accounts

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/08424712/filing-history

Note they had to restate their accounts in 2017.  Seems they owed £360,000 at the time and not £180,000.

finally Hacker House

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09678695/filing-history

Look at what happened between 2017 and 2018.  That is some related party transaction in the 2018 accounts.  What do you make of that?  Lending a barely functioning company £700k seems an odd thig to do?

Nothing to see here.

I didn't know much about Acuri.

This gave me some details though

A thread on the Jennifer Arcuri & Boris Johnson story & why it’s a bigger scandal than you think.

Farage has never overstepped the mark? His whole career has been hasn't it? (and to some that's part of the appeal)

“if you don’t let us crash out the people will start smashing the fuck out of stuff in the streets” is ministerial but stating facts like “if we leave the biggest single market in the world GDP will go down” is project fear
