It never surprises me that as soon as Diane Abbott is in the news that people are forever taking the pisses.

Not surprising the abuse is from Brexit supporters either.

It’s nothing to do with Brexit. She’s made multiple embarrassing gaffe’s.

Any politician making the same level of appalling mistakes would get the same comments and attention.

Plenty of MP’s make gaffes, now and then.

You and others choose to point out the gaffes of a black woman.

Just an observation.

It’s the gaffe’s of a politician.

I can assure you I don’t care if the person is black or a woman. The gaffe’s are just horrendous.

Don’t appreciate the inference Aaron to be honest.

I'm sorry but if the Mods has any consideration for anyone they should slap a ban on Aaron for this.

If I call him a C@£4,  ban for a week. He calls us Racists for taking the lists out of an idiot and you let it ride.

Shameful.

I haven’t called anyone racist. If you wish to see it that way, then that’s upto you.

Desperate for Tighty to hit me with that banning stick aren’t you? 🤣

Plenty of others clearly seeing it that way too.

You are a disgrace.and don't belong here.

Belong where? On a poker forum discussing politics? You need to get out more I think.

What u talking about? You werent even at the cricket WC final you tried to bullshit everyone about attending

Lol @ Beth Rigby trying to deliver her report against the backdrop of workmen throwing scaffolding poles on to concrete.

Who chooses these locations?

And, true to form, Diane delivers by demonstrating that maths still isn't her strong point.

Sad to see the response to Diane Abbott. She asked an extra question and everyone jumps on her.

Truly pathetic.

Will someone should understands these things tell me:

1) Will the EU buy the proposals by Boris, or if not, are they close enough to find a way to meaningfully negotiate from there?

2) Will Parliament vote for it?

1) No
2) No

They seem to have replaced the carefully drafted proposals with a bunch of waffle and vague promises.

It seems that the customs procedures are going to make trading across the border difficult and the DUP have way too much power going forward.  I have a bit more faith in the courts (UK and EU) doing the right thing than the DUP.

Each step they seem to head towards something worse than the step before.  It is all a bit bewildering.  People are saying it is all a cunning plan, but if it is, it seems to rely on lots of things happening as they planned.  Given the Government's record on getting things done as planned since the Brexit vote was announced, maybe we shouldn't be optimistic.

At least we have people we can trust to do the right thing in charge...

Thanks.

Poor (?) Boris is not having a good time as PM, don't think he's even won a Commons vote yet.

What a mess.

That could be part of his master plan. He has been on the campaign trail as soon as he got the job. When it comes to the inevitable GE he will be able to turn round and say he was the only one trying to get brexit done, look at all the votes we had to get it done but the opposition voted down etc etc

2) Will Parliament vote for it?

1).....it could have been a basis for negotiation, but the Benn Act (we MUST ask for an extension) really lets the EU off the hook in looking seriously at it and finding a compromised deal.  They would rather see an extension/election and take it from there.

2) Parliament would get the numbers if the EU went for it......but see above!
