I almost wrote the same.

I saw quite a bit of the interview, and Piers still managed to be hopelessly unbalanced on Churchill whilst simultaneously accusing his opponent of lacking balance.  There was one bit where Piers really does say that Winston Churchill effectively won the was single handed or something very similar.  I was sat there thinking did he really say that?  Isn't that a touch insensitive to those who gave their lives to defeat Hitler and his allies?  And calling someone a thick ginger turd isn't going to do anything other than make you look awful, so I think Piers' crown is safe for now.

It looks like ths was the source of Ross Greer's crib notes, though he seems to have ignored the counter arguments.  And to be fair to him, at least he had done a bit more research than Piers. 

I'd also say that nobody on here could get close to usurping Piers either.
