By trying to appeal to everyone the Labour party front bench have had no explainable position for three years and will be associated with the impact of no deal as and when it happens, the exact opposite of what their plan was.

That takes some doing. Certainly right up there with the ERG for daftness.

On the other hand if they had taken a firm position it would have immediately alienated 48%+ of the electorate.

You can’t refuse to have a position though, it’s woefully inadequate. They’re are intelligent people, they should weigh up all of the information and stand for whatever they feel best represents the interests of the country. No doubt for a long time in 2018 and early 2019 they thought (rightly or wrongly) that another general election would best serve the interests of the country (minority government, breaking every known record for not getting policy/legislation through parliament, not even able to control the business of the house).

They had an explainable position up to the point A50 was invoked. Thereafter they chose to be morons. If they'd stuck with the initial position they would have mildly alienated around 20-25% of the electorate, being the nutter remainiacs, who have since managed to gestate and fuck this all up for everybody

Politicians must weigh up all the evidence and stand for what they feel is in the best interests of the country?

No Deal risks peace in Ireland?

Irish politicians resolute that no new negotiating gonna happen, no pressure on EU to think again

Irish folk must be thinking how economic ruin and gambling peace is in their best interests

At the end of this 3yr period of clownery I do think no deal is the best outcome. The shock reality will be like an angry mum banging her kids heads together with great force. BANG! Suddenly there’ll be a great opportunity to add big bucks to economy for both sides.

Imagine two kids squabbling over the thought of a single chicken nugget when they both have full stomachs? Easy to not give an inch.

Now imagine few days later both kids starving and underneath a glass box there’s Big Mac, fries, and prob a McFlurry. All they gotta do is lift the box together. Harder to just sit there staring at the box doing nothing. Few days later they add quarter pounder with cheese and hot apple pie and kfc family bucket. Still staring doing nothing kids?

They aren’t pretty poor - They are what’s being reported by other media outlets. I’m not passing my own opinion.

Some people don't realise that you don't have to tell the guy from Gallup everything about yourself when they phone up to do the poll.

Just what I thought also, no way he is calling him that. It’s clearly Just a general comment as to why would you admit that in a poll!

I call and raise on my previous name call......

What exactly is your point?

I expect nearly all people who voted Brexit have a home, two feet, a nose etc. Are you saying 17million people are that bad?

Please take your findings to the newspaper you get this drivel from.

Where do you find your statistics Aaron?

Hi Aaron

Andrew is not implying anything about you personally. He was observing that it was strange that when contacted by a pollster that people would identify as a paedophile such that a statistic such as that which you stated could be produced by a polling company

On a broader point please can you stop conflating that because a small subset of Brexit supporters support far right groups, and an even smaller subset on a global basis commit crimes, that this disqualifies anyone who supports Brexit from having that view?

It's really not welcome and we regard it as unnecessary. It adds nothing to the tone of debate on here and really doesn't need repeating ad nauseam.

If you really have to keep posting in this manner, at least produce corroboration and sources for statistics and observations to at least give them credence.

Finally, why add "Boris Johnson - voted Brexit" to your rogues list? Whether a fan or not, its hardly appropriate to suggest he is in the same category as the EDL, racists, murderers and paedophiles is it?
