Tighty what did you think of Kramaric? I didn't see much of him at all but have heard good things.

big price tag (for us)

good goalscoring record both club and internationally

looked like he struggled to settle, maybe the pace and physicality of the premier league and was soon benched

in patches whether starting or more notably off the bench did show some signs of being a good finisher, certainly had some nice flicks and tricks too.

will now have to battle for a starting spot against ulloa/vardy/ozazaki/nugent and maybe more depending on who comes in, so the challenge will be to play consistently enough

Decent article here that touches on Falcao's decline, how Depay might fit in at Utd and some other issues around shot takers and shot makers: http://statsbomb.com/2015/07/transfer-theory-5-things-about-shot-takers-and-shot-makers/

Josh McEachern going to Brentford apparently. I remember him being talked about in the same breathe as Wilshere a few years back. Chelsea clearly did their work on him.

Capoue to Watford confirmed.  Thoughts?  Feels decent - still only 26 and with something to prove after a disappointing time at Spurs.

Noise about the PSG/Palace agreeing a deal but Cabaye needing proof that we have transfer ambitions.
Can someone send him over a piece of paper saying two words to sort this alll out.

I've done a search, can't see a figure anywhere.

How much do you think Chelsea have paid?

no idea

i quite enjoyed watching some of the wwc

found it interesting that chelsea, man c, liverpool ladies are hoovering up all the talent in the domestic ladies game..so there must be some wage differentials about compared to other clubs

as for budgets, no idea

i noted that the crowd for the game that decided the WSL titel last year was 726, so assume these budgets don't produce a return yet

They have a TV deal now.

Sponsors will be sniffing around after the positive image of English women's football portrayed in the World Cup.

Assuming budgets will be soaring northwards

The leading English players get a little over £1k/week. But the lowest paid are on peanuts.

Interesting article.

Still surprising Chelsea are paying a fee for Fran Kirby.

Which side would you take o/u 100k?

Under, under, under.

Young, skilful and possibly the most marketable player in women's football after the England boss called her "mini Messi".

How about u/o 50k?
