Cheers. Unbelievable final round really, incredible luck to stay dry on the 18th but feel he'd earnt it with his play mid round.

It's a quite week for gambling so our resident tipster Ollie has taken a well earned week off and gone on holiday to Australia. We have enlisted the services of Sam Harrop (@sam_golf) to provide his thoughts and betting tips for the Arnold Palmer Invitational this week.

Any of you who have punted on golf for a long time will be well aware of Sam's vast backlog of quality write ups and profitable tips. He's out of retirement for one week only folks!

Thanks for your picks. I will be playing draft kings again this week too...

General question. For an 80/1 shot for example for this, which each way terms would you prefer 1/5 odds 7 places or 1/4 odds 6 places. Or even how about slightly longer odds 100/1 but only 5 places 1/4 odds?

Quite like Stenners and Piercy, who both seem to be appearing on leaderboards so far this year.

Piercy is starting well and I couldnt resist a little dabble on first round leader(he may even have lead here last year iirc?). Can pay for the weekend if they get a top 5 opening round.

You are correct Adz, excellent memory! Went 63-74-66-74 I think. Wins if he turns though 74s into 71s. Lead after 18 holes twice already, wouldn't put you off that's for sure.

Looking like Scotty gonna fall a shot short of the place money after a first round -4.

Close but no cigar.
