Not watched the daily updates for weeks...

Jesus though the journalists have got to be the only people doing a worse job than the government!

Truly awful questions.

It seems a lifetime ago that sportingindex were betting over/under each day on 10 key words in each press conference when they started in March!

Keeping their powder dry for wave 2?

The camel was killing them and they soon pulled the plug!  It was the highlight of the day during early lockdown when the spreads went up and listening to the speech.  Once sporting pulled the plug the daily briefing wasn't quite the same watch.   Glad they have finally pulled it now.  'Test' was quoted at 55-59 one day and made up over 150!  It was a comedy watch.

"Pubs and restaurants should keep music at a low volume to avoid people needing to shout, which increases the risk of transmission from tiny droplets in the air, known as aerosols".

Excellent idea, with or without Corona virus.

It’s not that different to what Hannan/Pearson tweet and write in The Telegraph.

Care to read this and then continue that comparison?

I couldn't find a transcript for the questions posed on Tuesday.

The questions asked just seem to be like lame attempts to catch Boris, or the scientific advisers out. Or painfully trying to get them on record to state whether they believed in what they were saying/proposing so they could use it against them later.

It just seemed like such a waste of time, and I would assume the general public are tired of it.

Surely they should be asking more interesting useful questions at these briefings that help the public understanding?

I can’t access it atm, even though I have a subscription (maybe they’ve seen my contributions to Twitter 😊). They have been writing nonsense throughout, this might be an exception.

People are irrational panic merchants, I'm so glad I can hold my head high, stick my chest out and take solace in the fact I never succumbed.

It's a real pleasure to see all the youth of Hemel out on the green spaces, with scooters rushing round re-supplying whippets. Life is nearly back to normal

Who do you think panicked? We locked down a little bit, we kept the infection rate higher for longer than most, we have 65,700 excess deaths and now we reopen, with the infection rate higher than anyone else who has, without functioning contact tracing. Which part was the panic?
