I have to say I'm sorry I opened this can of worms now - I wanted to know if I was being sensitive - and thank you I realise I wasn't and I will speak up next time - I'm even looking forward to the next time just oi try it out.  Roll Eyes

I have to say in his defence he had definitely been drinking and that does make people do things they wouldn't normally. I don't know him apart from that day and I will always give people the benefit of the doubt - which is why I lay too many hands down!

If this was a behaviour that was constantly repeated then its definitely not good, if he got heated in the moment and lost control (however bad) and made a mistake which he regretted then it's water under the bridge.

I'm not going to allow anyone to waste my time (for too long) worrying about it - otherwise they have made a negative difference on my life, which is winning twice against me.

Everyone makes mistakes, as long as they learn by them, and I certainly have learnt something, then so be it unless it is repeated. I wasn't there for the second incident, I heard about it later, but if its all alcohol related then its something that may never be repeated. For the final he drank only water........well it looked like water! Smiley

Thank you for all the opinions, I have the courage to speak out now - i may play at Luton tonight just looking for trouble....guess I'll have to wait for the next time I play Walsall!

just remembered who this guy is ,

played him in southend last year ,tried it on cause there was him and his mate

from colchester both on the table ,but soon shut up when i told him what to do

hes got a few quid to his name ,so he thinks he can talk down to people

the best way to deal with these sort ov people is give em back what they gave you.

hes not a bad bloke when you get to know him .

even though i think it was out of order what he did ,it is not acceptable

lol, this thread has spiraled into the ridiculous.

it started off as a geniune debate on poker ettiqutte and general decorum with a succsesion of truthful and credulous points being made by people who were brave enough to say "this is outragous but 'm not sure i'd get involved".

now everyone wants to do the fella.

chining hims called GBH

i'm sure i'd do the summer in brixton for clumping someone i'd never met before for making a comment to someone else i'd never met.

lol
