if this is true (and im not doubting dingdell for one minute) then this guy is bang out of order!

trash talk at tables i can handle but when it gets personal and the C word is used that is disgusting aimed at a guy let alone a woman.

i cant believe at least one of the other guys at the table didnt pull him up for it, i certainly would and cant understand why others didnt. there are ways to sort things out without violence so his size is irrelevant and if that dont work you whack him  Cheesy

rise above it trace, forget it and enjoy playing your poker.

guys like this get there come-uppence in the end!

I use the C workd quite a bit in a jokinly sort of way.  I would be most angry if some clown called be a fat C**t at a poker table and I would go as far to say I'd probably batter 7 shades of S***e out the clown who attempted it.  There is no need for getting personal with people.  Trash talk I can take but when it stopps to this level someone has to taks a stand.

Weird, we are having simultaneous arguments here.....!

There is a lot of innuendo in this thread, & we don't allow flaming on blonde.

But the incident was reported to me by 6 or 7 different peeps, & was presumably overheard by those at the table.

It's either true, or it's not. If it's untrue, several people owe an apology to the accused. If it''s true, the accused needs to apologise for a comment which, albeit said whilst (I'm told) drunk, is completely out of order.

As everyone can work out who the accused is, me may as well say who it as - Luke Patten.

Luke is more than welcome to come on here & defend his actions, refute them, or apologise.

I was not present when the alleged incident took place, but it would appear that everyone in the Casino was aware of it. I have no idea how many peeps heard it first hand.

But I do know it was one of the most weird Finals I have ever witnessed. Not a word was spoken to Luke by any of the Finalists & there was a disticnct "atmo".

We need to eradicate improper conduct in Poker.

If Luke is innocent, he is more than welcome to defend himself on blonde, & I wil happily apologise for naming him. But everyone is alluding to Luke - "the winner", "large bloke" etc,  - let's stop beating about the bush. I know we don't normally get personal on blonde, but I see this as a very special case. DingDell is furniture on blonde, very much one of us, & if she's been treated so badly, I think we, the blondes, need to support her.

As an aside, the word in the Casino on Sunday evenng was that we would all club together & buy Vinni in for the next Tourney that Luke plays, & see what happens when Vinni gets some of that treatment......!

I was there but missed this incident itself. However i was around when he later had an arguements with other players. I am sorry but the guy is a **** i have no time for him. Its true on the final it was dead silent, all game. I have never seen a final like it before no-one was enjoying it, there was barely any poker played.

It's true though that we were discussing when he will get a smack, it was unanimous that we need Barry to sort this fool out!

Is hitting him the answer? I always though a punch-up was the last refuge of the incompetent.

Surely it'd be better just to stab the c**t.
