YouGov / Times gives Tories 7 pt lead over Labour.

Con 44 (+2)

Something absolutely remarkable in the YouGov polling from today.

These are figures for those in social grade C2DE (January numbers in brackets):
CON 48% (35% in January)
LAB 37% (46% in January)
Eleven-point swing to the Tories from Labour since January.

"On leaving Bec Grammar School in Tooting, his A Level results were not good enough to secure a university place, so Davis worked as an insurance clerk and became a member of the Territorial Army's 21 SAS (Artists) Regiment"

Eh?

"The regiment was established in 1859, part of the widespread volunteer movement which developed in the face of potential French invasion after Felice Orsini's attack on Napoleon III was linked to Britain.[3] The group was organised in London by Edward Sterling, an art student, and comprised various professional painters, musicians, actors, architects and others involved in creative endeavours; a profile it strove to maintain for some years"... blah blah - eventually became the regiment mentioned above. Cheesy

Brexit, the destiny-defining policy of the UK government, is being carried out by leaders whose hearts are not in it. Has this ever happened before? asks Charles Moore:

Barnier confirms everything we’ve been saying for months.

Brexit means:

1) whole UK in whole single market and whole customs union

or

2) sea border which divides UK internal market

If Brexiteers want to blame someone for the way Brexit is working out, they need to look not to Downing Street, nor Remainers, nor the EU27; but to a mirror, says

I liked this

The likes of Jacob Rees-Mogg – a sort of monocled Sergio Ramos,
