Well Pards has just said he won't give up until he manages a big team.
In the betting for me:
Pardew 6/1 Klopp 2000/1 Jamie Carragher 1900/1

gg brendan
really thought he was going to be given longer.
reckon klopp must be nailed on.
i do hope so.
ge Why? He has no experience of the most competitive league in the world. How much will he have to spend to get the squad he wants and how long will it take and how much will have to be written off the balance sheet to get rid of Rodgers shocking rejects? He just looks like a deadman type of manager who has run ahead of the curve for a short period.

"rodgers shocking rejects", do me a favour. do you really think he went to the board saying "we must sign balotelli" nor do i . He just looks like a deadman type of manager who has run ahead of the curve for a short period.

Seemed like a fair summary from Carragher:
"Liverpool are becoming Tottenham. They think they are a big club but the real big clubs aren't concerned about what they do."

Not gonna lie, i'm amazed Klopp would choose Liverpool. I can't help but feel he could have picked a better spot! He arrives with a strong reputation and is going to be expected to achieve top results with what is a relatively average bunch of players compared to the rest of the league. If he doesn't deliver here his chances of getting a top top managerial job in the future are likely much slimmer. Potential for career suicide?

If Chelsea are to make the top 4 they will have to enjoy a sequence of results unprecedented in PL history (and probably longer). Klopp, or whoever arrives, has a fabulous opportunity to get Liverpool into the CL for next year, assuming we hang on to four places.
