thats not the case.
He injured his back on a beach in Dubai on Monday, on a pre-season Spartak Moscow tour
Arrived at Arsenal yesterday, told the club he felt discomfort
sent for a scan which revealed a back injury
that's not the case either we signed him knowing full well he was injured for 4 weeks. I guess it was so late in the day we thought some cover later in the season was better than nothing the ox looked good slotting in CM on Sunday anyway

Who though? Not gona be many quality strikers available.
Cavani/Benzema/Benteke even Berbatov would fill the space for now. All mean we do actually have to spend real money. I would love to see Walcott given the role Pleno, whenever he has, he has v well. No one can accuse me of being a sing while you're winning fan! Cavani/Benzema - 0% chance Benteke - maybe but not convinced, is he really a long term WC option? If we sign berbatov I'll slit my wrists We won't buy a stirker. We might buy a centre back if anything. We will probably finish 3rd but just being competitive to the end is a huge step in the right direction

This is my favourite Arsenal blogger and today's is a typically well-written piece. www.arseblog.comagreed, the only blog i read really playing amazing football at the minute, and it seems we have a bit more depth than I thought... except up front! Long may it continue. Some tough fixtures ahead in nov and dec though. We will know more about this team by xmas

Fungus leaves Man Utd = instant decline?
Missed out on Thiago to Bayern. Seem to be spending a lot of effort on Fabregas which is delusional. If they dont sign anyone can see Man City and Chelsea overtaking them
One thing that just gets worse and worse every year is the amount of crap that gets written in the press. People taking "In The Know" sources from twitter, and just so much BS - 90% of it is just made up nonsense. I just try and shut myself away from it all in the summer, easier said than done though
Do the big clubs really waste their time chasing players that they have no chance of signing. I can't see teams putting in the effort if they haven't had a green light somewhere! Someone from United has surely spoken to someone representing Fabregas and hinted that he would be welcome to the move? Does the above happen or is that considered as tapping up the player? Well Barca said they wont sell, and Fab said he doesnt want to go. Several times. Who knows what goes on privately but selling him makes no sense for club or player It may be down to agent talk... Darren Dein in this case I'm sure they havent wasted that much time on it, just seems to keep cropping up in the press

Hello to you too Sir.
Hindsight is easy, and that is basically what I am saying. You can look it after 8 years and say Wnger is a genius, or look after 8 barren years and question his real ability. Its all about perspective.
All I would say is you list the good signings and I will take the bad ones......I bet I know whose list will be longer.
For all my moaning, no one cheers the team more and paces round the house etc etc, when they play, regardless of who is in charge. In the 90 mins, they have my 100% support.
Fair enough. And thats a great attitude regarding support, I see (on the rare occasions I get to go!!) far too many fans moaning inside the ground. That 90 mins is all about getting behind the team. Even a Pascal Cygan or an Igor Stepanovs! Regarding the transfer lists though, I agree with that but at the same time, pretty sure same can be said for almost any manager in the world.
