The play went limp antonio two other limpers. The Stig in BB dwelled long time and pushed all in (shocker). Antonio insta-cal (gasp from crowd) and got muffed for 700k, sweet.
lol this was so sick. He overshoved 70 big blinds... after Antonio limped UTG and button and SB called. He's only getting called if dominated.... deffo worst play of the day!

Yo Julian
You are at an important stage in a big tournament. Two tables of six players left and first prize is $1 million. You are in the BB and everyone folds to the SB. He raises it up and you call with QK suited. By chance when you glance over at him you see his hole cards are 82 off. The flop comes 297 and he now bets about 15% of his stack and you have him covered. What do you do? (you also know this guy from playing on the circuit and often have a few drinks at the bar with him)
ffs, i don't hear from you for like 12 months & then you come up with this? this sure sounds like a trick a trick question.....but you're telling me i can get my chips in first with overcards?? a clear push & 'suckout if called' situation. xx ps, u in copenhagen? hehe i'm the big 30 in a few days so am off skiing so i couldn't make Copenhagen! Will see you at the Irish Open or an EPT soon no doubt. GL

It's because they didn't want to move to a situation where they would need three day ones. Most players wouldn't want to play Day1 (a) if there was then a two day wait to play again!
Maybe at some of the bigger venues that can take 300 players a day they could reduce it back to where it was.
The prize pools haven't really been affected by the increase in the buy in which is what they were looking for i guess.
Its above what most players can stump up unless sponsored. Some of my mates used to have the odd shot.... but at £5000+ a pop its too much.

Hmmmm
Worst way to go out of a tournament yet!
He made it 17k to play. I made it 58k to play so 41k more with AQ after he raised the button. He thought for five minutes then said call and threw 14k in. He thought it was 14k more not 41k to which he would have folded. The floor was called and it was deemed a call. He made it obvious he didn't want to put 41k more in. I know knew he was weak so was pushing on any flop.
Of course he had 88 and flopped top set.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I can't play it!! had something i had to be in the UK for yesterday. I thought about flying today and get blinded away for the first four hours, but its tough enough to do well in these events without being jetlagged and losing 1/4 of my stack before i start.
My tips - Tore Lagerborg, Rory Mafews, Jani Vilmunen and Richard Ashby
I hope Dubai wins though :-)

Would have been a travesty if a team as average as Liverpool had won it 2 times in the space of a few years. I'd be willing to bet they won't make another final for at least ten years!
They beat the 'best' teams in Europe to reach the final both this year and in 2005. The Liverpool side is about 3 players short of being a very good side. I'd be very willing to take your bet about them reaching a final in the next 10 years. How much were you thinking? They beat them with their unique style of anti football. lol sorry have to disagree with 3 players short of being a very good side. I make them 6 players short! Only Reina Agger Carragher Gerrard and Alonso (Mascherano has potential to make 6 class players) any good.... average full backs... rubbish wingers and category B strikers. The league is the best inication and they rarely finish within 20 points of first! 10 year bets aren't much fun ... i'll make a bet they won't finish within 10 points of first in the premiership next season! I'll take that bet £100 ? Sure its a deal :-)
