WOW !
The story turns again as Cellino wins his appeal,

More interesting times ahead I guess, hopefully in a good way for a change,

At least it gets rid of the shadow of administration...

The bit that made me smile was the "independent" QC concluding that the recent conviction did not involve conduct that could "reasonably be considered dishonest" based on the information available to him at the current time.

Ross McCormack to Fulham for £11million.

To another Championship club? And people wonder why clubs go foreign.

Our new owner is a shrewd one indeed. No more selling players at reduced rates. He squeezed out the maximum for Ross, well done!

You've done us a big favour with Deeney.  Burnley/Norwich now realising why their £6 million offers were dismissed out of hand!

A number of prem teams wanted Ross, but they only offered £5-6m.

Given how much money there is in promotion, I think top proven Championship strikers are an interesting type of player to value.

You know they are going to get 20 goals season on season.  You know they are actually happy to play in the Championship and know the league.

How many players are there like that?

McCormack.  Deeney.  Rhodes.  Nugent.

How much would it cost Blackburn to replace Rhodes.  How much bigger a chance would it boost Derby's promotion chances if they have him.  50%?

They are worth their weight in gold imo.

Blackburn want £12m for Rhodes, in part because Huddersfield are due 20% of any transfer

Rhodes wants a new deal, or a transfer if not

Nugent is a bit different as he is older, 29 now, so less valuable, less sell on potential.

the younger ones you mention are more valuable

good day for use Leeds backers at 5/2, fair few had sharp first goalscorer too. He may be the difference in these evenly matched games.

I'll be pleased for you, as long as the Stoke, and Sunderland games don't finish as a draw...

Think we could be in major trouble this season. I know the team needs time to gel but saw some very worrying stuff last night.

Perhaps most bizarre of all were the tactics employed by our new "head coach". The day after giving Matt Smith a new contract he starts him up front in a diamond formation. Now, I like Matt Smith as a player, he is a good finisher and perhaps one of the best headers of a ball I've ever seen, which has lead to me and friends giving him the nickname "The Aerial Messi", but he seriously lacks the ability to move and can't really pass. So if he was up front in a 4-4-2 with wide players or a 3-5-2 or anything like that I'd be more than happy. But when we have no wingers in the squad (as usual) and 4 centre mids playing in a diamond, surely the "idea" is to try and pass through the middle with short sharp passes and intricate link up play.

The first half was a disaster as expected and they soon fell into the trap of lumping it upto Smith because he was there.

Then at half time he took Smith off for Ajose, a decision which can't have given The Aerial Messi much heart the day after signing his big contact. Now, Ajose seems terrible. When we signed him from Peterborough there were lots of links to Pboro forums with fans saying they cant believe they got actual money for him. You often get that from fans of a players old team as they are bitter, but it didn't feel like that in this case. It is widely believed he is the only player Hockaday chose to sign himself, and he just seems to have nothing in his game. So the second half wasn't much better, we just passed it around in front of Brighton's defence. We registered 1 shot on target all game and that was a 40 yarder.

Its all very worrying, predictably this Head Coach isn't going to last long at all, which is a shame because it just proves everybody right, but it may be necessary and if it is, the decision to appoint him in the first place is the most shocking one of all.
