Before the season started, Tighty set the line at 4 different Leeds Managers this season.

One down.

By any yardstick, that really was a bizarre appointment.

What an apt thread title. I'm not a Leeds fan, but wow, what a fall from grace, it does not seem 5 minutes since they ruled English football.

Those years of stupid spending beyond their means have really destroyed a fine club. It makes me very comforted that for all the armchair fans moaning & groaning at lack of spending, Arsenal have shown how it should be done. Long-term future is never guaranteed by short term spending. Not in the real world, anyway.

Deffo a sad story. Hope, eventually, you guys turn the corner & regain your place amongst the elite. It feels like you belong there.

Man U, Man C, Chelsea, Arsenal, Leeds & Liverpool. That somehow feels right.

Another young Italian centre back on the way - squad is getting huge now but still no real pace or width options. Adryan signed on loan today though - going by his you tube montage he could be a game changer for us! Let's hope so as although some promising signs today, Bolton were poor and yet we scrape a 1-0 with our keeper as MOTM so still quite telling.

Cellino statement also put out saying to not expect a big name..no sh!t, why pay for a big name for a 3 month fixed term contract! :s

A long way to go and will still be looking at the results of the bottom 6 1st for the next few months I reckon. You never know though, the Hock leaving, some relatively decent upcoming fixtures and hopefully no more sendings off and we could be on our way up the league.

Anything but a relegation fight please Leeds!

If rumours are true Garcia has picked Watford over Leeds.  Some of the comments on the local Leeds paper are hilarious.

So 'Global' they pay off their manager with a £10k pay off and send a press release to SSN amongst others i assume announcing the size of the pay off.  That made me laugh so badly yday when it flashed up on SSN i wondered how much his salary package was?  He would probably have been better off working in Burger King if that was his pay off!  Does anyone else think the new Leeds owner is a secret Manure fan desperate to destroy Leeds?

Great move by Leeds on twitter last night, telling their fans business wasn't done and to stay up. They then proceeded to sell 2 of their players, bringing no one else in

Lol that's the one. I imagine it'd be pretty tilting for those fans with early starts this morning!

Pmsl   ...     but even better on Radio 5 Live a couple of days back.

The Fruitcake offered the manager's job to Sir Nigel Gibbs (legendary Watford captain) - but the 'Hertfordshire Hero' felt compelled to point out he was currently suing the offeror for wrongful dismissal - having been Harry Hill McDermott's side-kick previously - and could not be his offeree!

That madman is right up there with Willie Tann's bruv at Baaaaaadiff as pure comedy gold.

Leeds Utd - a truly 'Glboal Giant'     ....        in Yorkshire.

The rumours won't be true, Garcia isn't his sort of appointment at all. Unfortunately.
