Villain #1 should have been able to find a fold there really playing 150BB's deep IMO.

I'm proud of you for trying that dish from Asia Noodles, I'm salivating here thinking about it, but why on earth did you inhale the pak choi?

Get well soon, there's nothing worse than being ill in Vegas.

xx

He dwelt for an absolute age, & even said "you must both have 6-7". Good read, Sir. Eventually he said "oh well, I may get lucky". And so he called, or, as the kids say, "sigh-called".

Noodle Asia? I half fancy trying "Minced beef with eggs sunny side up", but I'm scared they will pollute it with green stuff, or onions, or somesuch.

Yes, being sick in Vegas is not so good, but nature is clever, as I went to bed & slept solid for nearly 24 hours, so not so bad really. I still feel unwell, very odd in fact, my head is all over the place, and I'm not sure if I dare venture out today.

I found a lovely 24 hour pharmacy, though (thanks to Dom), smack next door to the Venetian, sell all sorts in there, so I dosed up on the American version of Night Nurse & a few other potions. Kill or cure, sort of thing. Hope I'm better before I travel home, 10 hours on a 'plane feeling like this does not sound like fun.

If you need something that requires a prescription that you can't just buy over the counter they actually have a doctor there at the back. They do you for a few $$ but if you do need anti-biotics etc. it's worth knowing.

Hopefully you won't need anything like that.

Yeah, saw that, right at the very back of the Store, goes by the quaint name of "Consultatuons"......!

The APAT crew are arriving in dribs & drabs, saw Dan Owston, the Scouse chap ("whoop whoop"), and Andrew T, who is staying at Mirage, too.

I think Chomps has gone home though, I'll genuinely miss him, even though we did not live in each others pockets, not sure if Donks & Gav are still here.

I have befriended a Canadian dude with a cowboy hat, we had a lot of fun at the Omaha cash Tables. He suggested we play some Heads Up Omaha together. That could end up in skintitude for me, I fancy, I'm a bit past the age for cock-swinging. The challenge was to both sit down with $2,500, & I politely declined, a mixture of commonsense, & fear, I guess. Told him I'd happily play 6-handed with $2,500 each, but I'd so get run over if we played HU.

I think the best fun I've had this trip has been the Omaha Cash Games, where I'm nicely in profit, but most importantly, had such great fun. Sit there nice & quietly, with a fresh Starbucks, & my i-pad, so relaxing. I don't play many hands, very selective as to starting hands, & position helps, as they bluff such a lot, & I can catch a few.

Canadian Cowboy Hat Dude flopped a set of Kings, & gave me a free card, I turned a set of Aces.....gotta love free cards in Omaha, eh?

Rather annoyingly I couldn't remember what Ralph's dish was in Noodle Asia, so instead plumped for some orange chicken, which was tremendously disappointing.

I got a sick min cash in yesterday's tourney, where I was knocked out by a Canadian who did seem to be wearing some kind of cowboy hat. He castigated me for not playing 'properly' when I 3bet shoved AQs into his AK with 20 bigs.

Must do lunch when we get back, yep.

"How would you like your eggs sir?"
"Rare please."

Shouldn't be funny but so is.

She knew what I meant!

I like my eggs rare. Better than asking for "snotty", imo.....

How did you end up in that Tourney on Tuesday? You were deep in the cash when I last looked.

Meanwhile, I was looking like Finalling in the Omaha, with 11 left. I finished 11th.....

As luck would have it, I could not have returned to play the Final next day,

I would have gone, even if my leg was hanging off.

That'll be my man. He's over 55, so patently & self-evidently does not have a clue.

Unlike you & I, both of us 5,000 miles from home, & Posting on blonde from the same Hotel.

Now't so queer as folk, eh?

See you later, Mr T.

You tried Carnegies Deli yet? It's downstairs, right next to Starbucks. Go get one of those 1lb New York Cheesecakes, you've never lived until you do.

Obviously need to eat some fruit and veg, then you'll be fine.

We don't NEED Veg to stay healthy.

Thanks Rich.

19 should be "Hemel Hempstead", not London, surely? I was staying in Days Inn, Luton, that night, never heard a bang like it - thought the Hotel had been bombed!

Photo 12, &, to a lesser degree, # 46......

What are those circles? See them every time I fly over the Mid-West, always wondered what they are.

It's the only rational thing I can think of. Not sure it's right, though.
