If this is what happens when you have a little more time, then quit everything plz tikay.. Keep it going, and make sure your diary is kept up to date..
Great Read, and excellent photos.
Except for the one of the burning whatever it was. That was crap.

She then told me she'd Bubbled earlier in the day in a Super-Sat for some Comp, & that had caused her to burst into tears.

I bumped into this Gentleman tonight at Caesars Palace - he is, in my view, not ony the best World Champion in recent years, but possibly the best Ambassador the game has. He conducts himself in exemplary fashiom on & off the table, & is a credit to poker. I've rarely seen him dressed any different - 'Stars top, knee-length shorts, white socks, Compo-style open-toed sandals, & Thewy Man-Bag slung over his shoulder. He's a man very comfortable in his own body.
I too think Raymer has been an excellent ambassador to the game and seems like a nice person. Even the most mild mannered lose their temper.
From CardPlayer and the $50k HORSE Championship:
Greg Raymer Eliminated by Mike Matusow
It's funny how things work out at the WSOP. Greg Raymer drew a seat right next to his nemesis Mike "The Mouth" Matusow, and just as peeple were thinking to themselves how well the two former rivals were getting along, Matusow somehow went and messed it all up. We're not sure exactly what happened and/or what was said, but Raymer was eliminated by Matusow and left the tournament with a bang. Raymer got up from his seat, ripped the 8 in half and stormed out of the room.
Raymer confirmed this happened on a related 2p2 thread.

Also on the 'plane were Eric Bristow & a bunch of Darters, coming To Vegas with a Film Crew from Sky Sports for something or other, I know not what.
Eric must watch the
Sky
Poker
Show, as he complained, tongue-in-cheek I think, that we never invited him on, "but you invited that Manley fella". Whooshed me. "OK, you are invited on" I said". "How much?" said he. Not daft, Eric. He looks great, lost a bunch of weight, & seems to be enjoying life. Proper Legend.
I know it is sad to admit that it has been bugging me, but I was convinced that Eric had been a guest on Sky Poker before. Then I remembered this clip (Eric is on at 00.20)

You should check out Shoreham airport if you like your ArtDeco airports:
It doubles as a concert venue doesn't it? I recall Sam Brown played a gig in there a few years ago.

The advance party had dinner tonight at the Voodoo, 10 of us, & it came to an eye-watering $620.
£31 a head is eye-watering?
Do you eat out, ever?
lol i was thinking that, i don't know the last time i went out for dinner for less than £31
You can get a KFC Bucket, feeds 5, for a tenner anywhere. Cant beat it, either, drink included. Not seen a KFC here yet.
As a well-known bird lover do you not have concerns about how those chickens were and are farmed ?
Not to mention the amount of fat and other bad stuff that the meat contains....
I do, sometimes, but my appetite wins the battle with my conscience.
Fat? Bad stuff In KFC? It's full of goodness, vitamin D, & stuff like that.

Was a bit surreal this morning. The table looked up at the news saying a bus had caught fire at the Rio. Hmm, it's not daylight outside yet is it? Was all anyone had to say. Confirmed by the dealer who just came on shift, it was daylight and the news could be live.
