Somehow, I missed this post yesterday.

I would love to buy this. not in case of nuclear war, but just to own a unique accommodation in such a fantastic location.  

Is it for real, or do you think it's a wind up?

It was £16,500 yesterday, now up to £19,500 !

A: Hi, The plot is 2,756 sq ft in total. There is no vehicular access directly to the site due to being fenced. However, there is a small lay-by in the country lane immediate to the private entrance 200 yards from the bunker.

I was driving down my street last night at about midnight and saw a badger!!!

There's always foxes about but I've never seen a badger so assume it's a rare sight.

I live in a typical modernish, loads of houses type area and was shocked to say the least.

Anyone else ever seen a badger in a built up area?

To be honest I don't think I've ever seen one in real life before.

I've seen them after dark in quiet rural back gardens Matt, (Some people put food out for them) but I've never seen one in a built up area.

How big do they get? Any idea?

This one was quite small so I assumed it was a pup. Is pup the right word for a baby badger? I'm just guessing.

Badgers are members of the weasel family Matt. I would say that a fully grown one is about the same size as a biggish corgi. Males are called boars, females are sows, and youngsters are cubs.

Where was the one you saw, and what was it doing.

I don't know exactly where it is Kev, but you just can't but lumps of the Peak District every day. Any bit would do me. I would love to have it as a "holiday home"

I've been OK since Geo, 'cept for a little ache around my kidney area. (It hurts when I jog).

My eldest girl has been in hossie for a few days to have a bit of an operation. She's home again now, we went to see her yesterday. She looks a bit pasty, but she was eating chocolate so that's a good sign.

Any road up, I was off forum for most of the day, so I didn't manage to comment on some of the excellent film posters. I loved Ralph's Casablanca, and the story that went with it, and what about bobAlike's DEATH WISH? What an iconic image that is. It spawned a whole new genre.

Gentlemen Prefer Blonde's Geo? Not in this case, I'm going for Jane Russell (Although I'd swap both Jane and Maralyn for Audrey Hepburn)

Indeed Jane Russel was just stunning in that film and a great choice of Audrey Hepburn, the wife and I watched Breakfast at Tiffany's again the other week.

I am a huge fan of My Fair lady where she showed some great comedic talent also.

The Mrs and I are great fans of a lot of the old musicals and we have quite a collection, Doris Day/Judy Garland/Kelly/Astaire/Crosby/Sinatra (IMO was a cracking actor although more famous for his singing and "connections")
