...oh and if you're into your space stuff and what we're all made of (i.e. stars), you might want to watch this Brian Cox series "Wonders of the Solar System":

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00qyxfb

9pm Sunday nights, BBC HD (and BBC 2) - series-link it now!!

I thought it was excellent, especially the bit about the solar wind and earth's magnetic field.  I also want to go to Chile now to look at the stars...

That reminds me of my "Uncle" Jack Varey. He use to gather us kids around the camp fire, and tell us "Varey stories". One of his favorite quotes was, "I may be lying in the gutter, but I'm looking at the stars"

Mr Red, do you know anything about the grey squirrel?

We have just moved house and the little beggars are in the loft.

Any ideas how to get rid?

Commonly known as tree rats.

You can buy traps.

Then skin them and bake in oven, yum yummy.

Tastes like chicken, but with a bit of a nutty taste to it...

Squirrels are not the best thing to have in your loft, they will rip up your insulation, crap in your water tank, and then chew your electric wiring and burn your house down, but....  You don't have to kill them.

To get rid, you will need

Two saucepans

Wire netting

Hammer & nails.

Method.

1: Go into loft and bang pans together until squirrels leave.

2: Fit wire netting over entrance hole, fix in place with hammer & nails.

Jim Moult mentioned to me hes gonna have a bit of a social game round his place one Monday or Tuesday night towards end of the month/ early next month, bit of pool hustling and snacks provided apparently.

Few DTD regs and others going round, I think hes planning on asking you next time he sees you or going to give you a text when dates confirmed.

Nothing like a bit of slowrolling each other and pisstaking to take your mind off a bad run!

Er, wouldn't I  actually have to win a hand before I can slowroll someone?
