The teapot has been invented, but the question is will the Service Stations pay for them?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/231020.stm

I can't figure out how it works. (Although I'm sure it does) You would imagine that by the time the tea had reached the groove on the underside of the pot, it would be all too late.

That's dead clever, that is. I think the point is that you can't prevent it dripping out the spout, but the under-lip means that it will always drip off the bottom of the end of the spout, not run back down the spout on to the table. Clever.

Wasn't something very similar 'invented' about 10 years ago?  It was a 'v' cut into the end of the spout that had a groove as well, so the liquid didn't drip back down along the spout.

Anyway, who needs a teapot really?

I'm going for my walk. It's raining so hard that the dog is refusing to come with me.

She was bluffing.

Been so busy today sorting out my backlog of emails and my work diary.

I have stuff booked up for April already. Can you imagine how scary that is for someone like me?

In the old days Gypsies would use such lovely, vague time-frames.

I'll have it done by strawberry time.

I'll get a new one before Appleby.

It'll manage until the corn comes down.

I want it back before Doncaster Races.

And, (One of my favorites)

I'll be about 50 this back end, I think.....

It was invented about 10 years ago (well 12...) which is why the link is from 1998.

Nah. I checked it.

I always weigh twice, and if there's a discrepancy, (Usually there isn't) I use the heavier of the two.

Scales that read down to the quarter pound? That's only a bag of sweets...

I know! And yet if I were to eat that same bag of sweets, I would gain a pound.

Lots of sugar-free options out there if you look for them
