why are you exorcising first thing?  do you have a ghost?

Exercising. <Swears under breath>

Well spotted Claire, proves you're reading my posts properly and not just skimming.

I used to think Tony just skimmed my posts, but if I make the tiniest mistake, he PM's me about it.

I let go a purler by you yesterday morning Tom!

It was a beautiful Post, & it was only the smallest mistake you maid

I planned to drop you a note, then realised I owed you, like, 4 PM replies, so I bottled it.

I'm so bad. I spot the smallest spelling error or typo in anyone's Post, instantly, but seem to be "blind" to my own these days. It's an embarrassment.

Well at least no one else spotted it.

You still owe me those replies.

BTW- You should see the PM's I didn't send....

I know, I don't know whether to work from the top of the pile or the bottom! Luckily, you of all peple understand.

Did I miss spell "People" or did I use "Whether" in the wrong context?

Groan - the perfect example of my recent blindness to my own spelling mistakes!

Nah, it was not a cryptic reference, I just messed up.

There'a a guy next door who jumps on EVERY typo or spello I make, without fail, & makes a big song & dance about it, too. Marv. Roll on solitude.

Guess I'll settle for the former!

How do you know all these sayings, Tom? Who taught you? Not school, I know that.

Remember "Quotable Quotes" from the Readers Digest? I loved them, and they made a great impression on me.

Quotes and bits of poetry stick in my mind (God know why, nothing else does) and I can often recall one to fit the situation.

It's great having Google, because if you know roughly how a quote or a poem goes, you can search it on-line and check the wording and find out who who the author was.

Don't read The Sun today Mr Red. The lack of a capital G would drive you nuts, obv the undertone of the "gipsy wedding" story wouldn't make you smile either.

It's not the only crap in there.  I'm sat on a train and the bloke next to me is reading it.  I spotted the 'gipsy wedding' article and thought it would probably be a well-rounded and objective piece of critical journalism.

How do you use these [ ] ?
