Tacho doesn't record distance directly. It records time and activity. Although if the truck has a digital tacho (all trucks reg'd after April 2006) the printout would show more detail it doesn't show mileage other than at start and end of shift

WTF is up with soap these days? It's to bloody soft, that's what's up with it.
Time was when a bar of soap was so hard you could have substituted it for a smooth rock and no one would have noticed for a fortnight.
My Granny once threw a bar of soap at my cousin Billy and felled him in his tracks like a pole axed ox from a distance of 100 yards.
The stuff they make now is only good for squeezing through your fingers and blocking the drains.
I bet those bastards at health & safety have something to do with it.

Sigh...
I cycled 100 miles on Sunday without a hat and got sunstroke.
I blame you of course.

Guy , i drove Scanias and Dafs, both had 2 x 500 litre tanks plus the Daf had a third tank of 100 litres.
IIRC Dual tanks are optional.
thanks that is helpful When you refuel, is it usually mandatory to record mileage at the point of refuel. Would a Taco have this info (last stop for eg?) It is not mandatory to record mileage , but many drivers do. Most refuelling stations used to ask if you wanted your mileage entered on your receipt. Tacos would not have this information (amount of fuel purchased),it would obviously record any periods when the vehicle was at rest. A lot of company's ask drivers to record the mileage so they can work out mpg and whether or not your nicking 5ltr here and there ! Probably more for tax reasons Lee, but most employers do insist. Lol. Sure is

We have a one-legged female sparrow nesting in a hole in our roof, I just watched take eight attempts at getting into the hole. She also has to hover at the sunflower hearts, as she cant hang on to holder with just one foot. This was her trying to get into the nest yesterday - She must waste so much energy!

Tasmanian masked owl?
Good old common Barn Owl - but a melanistic one. Hand reared as the mothers will reject them which is why we don't see them in the wild. BTW I googled the Tasmanian Masked Owl - incred bird ID skills Red - very like it!!
