When TV baddies plant a bomb or a tracking device, why does it always have a red flashing light on it?
If you were a master criminal...
...and you'd sourced the finest and most gifted explosive maker this side of the Andes...
...and he came to your lair with the plans for his ingenius and magnificently efficient bomb...
...and he said "would you like me to add a flashing LED?"
Would you not say yes?

Only if he could make it so that it stopped flashing if people were looking.

The red flashing light is there to show that the device is "ON" - have you any idea how much it would fuck up the film if the bomb wasn't armed or the tracking device wasn't actually tracking?

It's not just the red flashing light. Film makers spend fortunes in the pursuit of authenticity and realism, but they still have actors carrying suitcases that obviously weigh nothing, drinking for empty coffee cups, instantly finding parking spaces in big cities, stubbing out full, just lit cigarettes and waking up from a nights sleep in fill make up.

Merry Christmas to you and yours too Kev.
How's business, have you retired yet?
How old is that little one, Gracie was it? Has the newness worn off yet?
Do you still play much poker?
I was toying with the idea of going to DTD over the holidays but I might be too fat.
Have a good 2017.

Merry Christmas to you and your lot Maureen.
What's the plan for today, a quiet one with the hubby or all the family pigging out and watching telly?
Happy new year. May your best day of 2017 be your worst day of 2017. X

Vinny. I have absolutely no idea what's happening in your life these days. Can I have a brief update please?
I've just realised that you are the only person I know who's head would look exactly the same if it were on upside down.
Happy new year to you and all the Nandonians.

I cooked, I am a feeder you see, love seeing people sat and enjoy food. Stacey, Owen , Reece and O'cean all came for the day. Stacey and Owen are apart now but we decided spending Christmas together would be good. They have just left, I am secretly hoping they reunite but what will be will be. Tomorrow Reece returns to us for a few days. I go back to work Tuesday and that's it for me as working overtime all new year.
How was yours spent? Xx
Happy new year. May your best day of 2017 be your worst day of 2017. X
