We went archering today.

If I'm ever alone in a survival situation, remind me to take Mrs Red with me.

Can be a bit addictive, although it's too easy with the GNas(ty) equipment. Old fashioned Longbow the way to play Cheesy

*GNas are the British Archery - they allow sights, counterweights & even triggers (shudders). BLBS does trad longbow only.

I'm with you Rod. I never did get all that fancy equipment on such a simple tool. I mean, where do you draw the line? Laser guidance? A string tied to the bullseye for your arrow to slide along?

Mrs Red's bow was very basic yesterday but she's a natural shot.

They can put a man on the moon but they can't make a washing down brush with a head that doesn't keep swiveling around while you're using it.

Have you tried a sponge? So much better. Its comparable to using an iPhone over Android.

I'm washing down, sponges are for washing up.

Seriously though sponges are great if you can use them without a step ladder.

I’ve never watched Cool Hand Luke. Probably time I did. What’s it about?

It's about an hour and a half.

Seriously though Dave, It's a brilliant film. It would be difficult for me to leave it out of my all time top 10.

Have you tried this snow foam stuff, really helps break down the dirt before washing.

You're worse than Mrs Red. She falls for all that snake oil and fairy dust malarkey.

You should see how many 'New from JML' gadgets and potions we've got under the sink.

Ha ha. When I wash my car I like to protect the paint work especially being as it is black. If you don’t get rid of the dirt first you are liable to scratch the paint work. This stuff does loosen the dirt first and the results are so much better.

BBC News - Obesity: Ban snacking on public transport, top doctor says
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-49975720

Does anyone think this will make even the slightest difference to obesety? If course it won't.

How will it be policed? Will there be airline type bag searches? Will they employ someone to make sure you don't pop a sly Werther's Original into your mouth?

What if you get caught, will you be thrown off? Will you get a public warning? Will repeat offenders be banned or will someone just squeeze your cheeks with one hand while holding the other under your mouth?

What a load of bollocks.
