He's very enthusiastic with the pen too.

Anyone watched the Drive to Survive series on Netflix?
It's made F1 fans of my entire family.

I'll never be an F1 fan, really cant imagine watching a race but this series, like the film Senna, really adds some texture and is great to watch. Slightly teed off that after your post I launched into series 3, not being aware of it before.
First time I've seen the Grosjean crash, just incredible and honestly couldn't remember the outcome although I'd heard about the crash, joyous to see him climb out.

I have to admit that I enjoy the series far more than the actual racing, but the racing can be pretty spectacular at times.
That fireball crash for instance, what a thing to watch in real time. It's impossible to imagine what it must have been like for his wife.
The thing about live sport is, you just never know what is going to happen. I somehow forgot about the semi-final snooker match between Barry Hawkins and Ronnie O'Sullivan. When I tuned in it was 9-6 to Hawkins in a best of 19. Hawkins was about 50 points in front in frame 16, he was at the table and Ronnie was slumped in his chair. Nothing to see here so I switched over to something else I wanted to watch.
Next morning I read that Ronnie has won 10 frames to nine. Tosser. (Me, not him)

I stumbled upon this last night and I really enjoyed it.
Not an easy bloke to like Mr Clough. Brilliant in his own way though.

Have to say that Spall does a fantastic job in any role they throw at him.

Was he the guy that portrayed David Frost in the film about Frost interviewing Nixon?
EDIT - strike that, it was Michael Sheen.

No Tone, that's the title character from the Damned United film. He played Cloughie.
Spall played Peter Taylor.

FML. I'm getting fearfully confused here, but yes, the Peter Taylor character was superb I thought. I saw the film many years ago & vividly recall the scene where Cloughie goes down to Brighton with his kids to see "Uncle Peter".

I remember Forest playing Celtic & Clough took their bus a detour to the Celtic manager, Davie Hay's, pub, took the whole team in for a pint and left Hay with the bill.
Even the Celtic fans loved that move.

Chauvin trial. Williams may talk a lot but his testimony has been compelling.

It's a painful watch tonight. (The female Fire Officer).
She's a fully credible witness imo.

A great witness imo.
She got a fearful ticking off from the Judge at the end though, I thought he was unduly hard on her. The Defence were trying to put words in her mouth with cleverly composed questions, but she was having none of it.
Have to say, absolutely addictive viewing.
