It's not from a brewery, think it might be pretty similar to an hydrometer though...

It's quite clearly a medieval bra for one-breasted women.

How many tins of kennomeat would he eat per day ?

It would vary from dog to dog Ralph, but a working adult would probably need around 4-6 cans a day with an equal quantity of biscuits.

(I'm sure Tighty said he had one)

A bernese.....same idea, but smaller

I think the newfie has webbed toes where the Bernese being a mountain dog won't. They are both beautiful big dogs though.

My favourite breed is the Leonberger.  They have newfie in them, so they are also good swimmers with webbed-feet.  Lovely temperament as well.

They're big buggers as well

I think I've found out what that tree was that I was asking about a few pages back, and it's not a sycamore as the seeds were not those whirly sail type things.

I'm fairly sure that it's a London Plane tree, Platanus X Hispanica as it's known in the trade.

I do believe that it's a cousin of the Sycamore, but the round fruit had fallen when I walked past yesterday and the inside of them were lined with brown furry stuff and in the middle was hard round dark brown knobbly nut.

The object I posted a photo of is a salinometer, used for testing the density of salt in a steamships boiler. This particular one, according to the accompanying note, came from the Steam Sandredger SS Sunfold.
