Also sorry to hear about your Grandfather. Mine was my hero and I still miss him. Strange really,I am 58 and miss my Grandfather. Funny things families.
Just to change the subject,I played at Palm Beach the other night and saw a spectacular hand in the 5/10 cash game. 3,3 vK,K. Flop comes 3,3,K. A bit of dancing around the handbags on the flop before it all goes in on the 6 turn. As the case King arrives on the river their was a minor explosion from the volatile Greek gentleman with the three's. He did have some sympathy as K,K was playing only his third hand of a three hour cash session, much preferring to watch TV on his iPad and wait for KK or AA all night.
Good luck in Malta and keep the updates coming. I have 10% of min cash Mitch by the way. Another hopeless investment.

Not really sure what to post. Very sad indeed, but it had been coming for a long time, and it was peaceful, so we can all be thankful for that. He led a great life and we shared a huge number of happy memories with him over the years. Will dig out some photos when I get home. Flying home in the morning to be there for my Granny and Mum. Easiest decision ever of course.
I've always been good and compartmentalising problems. But last night I got the news whilst I was playing the 2k, it was quite a strange feeling. Of course nobody at the table paid any attention, but I was in bits. I saw the day out and limped over into day 2, with 11bbs, but couldn't wait to get out of there. I'd booked my flight home within half an hour of the phone call.
We were 10 off the money at the start of today, and I really just wanted a min-cash and to be on my way, got it in very first hand with 75% equity and busted. That didn't help matters. I'd come 17th with 16 seats in a satellite the day before by the way, admittedly I got a 1.1k cash saver, but still, morale all time low.
Nor did the Liverpool game help matters. Watched it with Mitch, Warbs, Stato, Jake, Craig, Trickett, Firaldo - all either huge utd fans, or were betting utd so it wasn't pleasant. Good to take mind off things though - and would've felt guilty for enjoying the result if we'd won. Grandpa was a Utd fan so he'd have been happy at least.
RIP
