players like myself wouldn't be able/want to play it (bankroll nit).

Surely if you just sit shallower the game is a LOT better for you than a 1/2 capped game?

I prefer the capped 1/2 games with the stronger regs playing a different one Cheesy

Given the limit changes were basically mine and Sean's idea, I'd like to think it's the weather and the lack of cash game bonus that has resulted in the very low footfall recently!

The 50/1 players are pissed off that they can't sit with 200 anymore. PLAY 1/2 THEN!

Literally. I was trying to get a 1/2 going last night, and everyone was commenting on how good it would be to play 1/2 without the "bullies", and how tilty it was to lose a buyin and only be able to resit with £100. The discussion died down and we went back to playing £4 pots.

This is not a rub but merely an observation, it was pretty tilty for Alex the other night losing three or four buyins and still only being able to sit for £400. I think the new limits and charges work, but only if all the games are playing at the same time. As in, the "feeder" system would work quite nicely, but doing your nuts in capped games while you're waiting for a higher limit game to even start is the definition of rage.

Alex was sat at a £1/2 game capped at £400, so why should he be able to buy in for more than the £400 cap?  If players could buy in for what they want, then the game wouldn't be a £400 capped game (slightly tautologous I admit), and players like myself wouldn't be able/want to play it (bankroll nit).

The problem was that there were more than enough players there who wanted to play the uncapped £1/3 game, but for some reason that I couldn't understand, it wasn't being run.  Has it been run since?

It has not. Unsure why.

Do you lot even play live cash in Leeds Dan?

Isn't it just you lot in your pants playing online all day in your balla houses / apartments eating domino's and wacking off to tulisa and the casino's are just full of actual locals.

Well, this is a problem imo.

The capped 1/2 suits recreational (i.e. bad) players like me, but doesn't suit those who want to play with larger buyins, especially the regs.  Introducing the 1/2 capped game made sense alongside the uncapped 1/3 game  - in the same way as the £200-max .50/1 made sense alongside the uncapped 1/2.

Is it just that there haven't been enough players for the bigger game?

Mostly yes, but there are some live pokers from time to time.

Pretending that the same doesn't happen in notts (albeit in less baller houses/apartments) is just not gunna get through though I'm afraid

The problem is there's 4/5 regs say that'll play 1/3. We obviously don't want to play against each other, but the only way we'll get a game going is if WE START IT.

We have to start it and then hopefully the fish playing 1/2 will come and join us when they realise they can win serious bucks on that table. Especially when I'm spewing like usual.

Some of the regs, and I was guilty of this up until quite recently, need to realise that they are needed to help the games start, so even if it's a bad value game to start with, it's worth it in the long run.

Also playing with better players is a great way to improve.
