Sean,

Was good to share tables, albeit briefly, on Saturday.

Can I ask you about that rather odd little hand v Mr Fullashit?

He'd been opening wide & generally being Jack the Lad.

He was in the BB, but he thought he was first to act, & mucked his hand, only to quickly retrieve it when he realised he was in the BB.

You opened, 2.2x or whatever, & he called. It immediately struck me as odd that he called your bet after previously trying to muck.

Flop was K-K-10.

He now leads out with a chunky bet, & you folded pretty quickly.

Mr Fullashit now shows us his 8-4.

Not being wise after the event, but did you not think it might be worth keeping him honest in that spot?

I nearly fainted when you folded.

Deffo not dissing you, am just curious as to your thinking. When we discussed it after he (inevitably) dusted his stack off, you said you'd seen his attempted muck.

I did enjoy making a bit of a move on him, after he gave character references for the entire table. I got "old man from Sky Poker, lolpro, Aces & Kings only". So when he attacked my BB, I came back at him, & after the anticipated theatrical dwell & speech, "I'm making a huge fold here", he folded. I was really tempted to show, but decided to keep him guessing.

I gather you ran deep (certainly a lot deeper than me), so well done.

anytime is fine. pop in and help whenever suits you, probably after level 5-6 (so 4-5pm) when players have registered and its a bit quieter

take a look at the last grand prix update for an idea.

Behave, I never said that!

As it happens, Mr Fullashit DID say it.

"Weakest table ever, this, I only have to breathe on my chips & everyone folds like a wimp" were his words. Took him nearly two orbits to dust off a 100k stack @ 200-400 on "weakest table ever". He exited to much disguised tittering from the weak table.

Jeez, I LOVE the characters we meet in Live poker.

This actually sounds like it could have been a chap I've played with a few times who has a habit of misbehaving at the tables, very much talking the talk. I believe this got him a lifetime ban from grosvener last time we met, I'm sure Sean can confirm whether this is the same guy. If it was, then I have absolutely no problem with Sean's decision to fold this flop, since it would have been unnecessarily high variance to get involved with him at this stage of the tournament without strong holdings.

The guy was from Leeds Matt/Tony, done his nuts on the cash raising £25 blind and smashing the flop, lucky for me I got all his dollar with 5/8 spades, he was very arrogant and rude to dealers and certain players on the table, he tilted one player really bad.
