Ok so we have around 16 weeks till the new year and I'm keen to start another weightloss challenge. As discussed earlier in the thread I had a bet with a guy at work that I could lose 5st in 2012. I've done ok so far but have between 2.5 - 3st to lose after taking my eye off the game the last few months.

Whilst it will be tough for me I am positive. Since the first challenge I've increased my activity significantly, doing a 40 min walk everyday with the dog & cycling to work however after initially being really strict with food & more importantly drink more recently I've lost the drive, so I'm looking to my fellow fatties to get this back.

So I'm proposing another 2lb per week prop, I'm going to start us off at £10 per lb missed and would really love it if some others would get involved too!!

I'm in, not sure what for, but ready for a challenge.

Suggestion - anyone who is in should also have a minimum posts prop bet. ie. we have to pay a forfeit if we do not update and generally post this thread X times a week. One of the reason we all slipped a little lately is because we are posting less, but if we all have to make a minimum of 5 posts ITT a week or pay a forfeit, should be enough to get that momentum going.

My new challenge was:

To lose 50lb by 22 December 2012
If not achieved he will dress up on the said date as Santa Claus and give every single person in the club a candy cane!
Starting weight as of 18th June : 23 stone 1lb
target weight :19stone 5lb

Update:

HOHOHO

Gonna start looking for outfits now.

Well done to those who have kept it up. I  got back on the horse last week and lost 2lb but am way off new target.

Yeah, agree with that Barry.
Like Soviets idea of another 2lb a week prop bet. If we do that then I would start mine monday with a target of 16lb in 8 weeks. Sunday start/finish would also be fine as it was a Sunday for the last prop

So I don't really want to lose much weight, I'm quite happy where I am as I have (somehow) managed to maintain the weight loss.

I am feeling very sluggish atm so I think my challenge, to run alongside the weight loss challenges, will be something like:

I have to go to the gym three times a week, drink a litre of water every day, and post in this thread on three seperate days each week. For every gym session I miss in a week I have to pay a fiver, for every water or forum posting I miss I have to pay a quid.

Basically a way of keeping me conscious and accountable all the time.

As a lot of the peeps om this site i too don't know how to download them direct, if this is a major issue i will read up on how to do it, but busy at the mo.  Unless some one else can do it for me Smiley

Any way it speaks for its self i think they are good press ups, especially from some one like me who has the same arm strength as Mr burns.

Sounds good Barry, how about a running prop for yourself, beat your time from yr last run, will need to properly hydrate for that!!
