So I don't really want to lose much weight, I'm quite happy where I am as I have (somehow) managed to maintain the weight loss.

I am feeling very sluggish atm so I think my challenge, to run alongside the weight loss challenges, will be something like:

I have to go to the gym three times a week, drink a litre of water every day, and post in this thread on three seperate days each week. For every gym session I miss in a week I have to pay a fiver, for every water or forum posting I miss I have to pay a quid.

Basically a way of keeping me conscious and accountable all the time.

Sounds good Barry, how about a running prop for yourself, beat your time from yr last run, will need to properly hydrate for that!!

I really need to sort out a prob but am more of a fringe player.  popping on reading how well girdy is doing & taking my motivation from that.

First thing first I need to get some scales sorted as when i moved i left them, second i need to stop eating crisps.

OK  i think i have my targets in view:

1. Get to 11 Stone, was 12 stone when i started 10 days ago, have lost 4 lb and next weigh in due Friday. Might as well be by Xmas day.
2. Complete 100 press up challenge by Xmas day
3. Complete my version of 100 deadman burpee's in 10 minutes by Xmas day, have attempted this a few times best was 60, next attempt tonight. Could post a video if peeps want to see what this is and how painfull it is.
4. Complete a shortish road race by my birthday 20 May, I want to run a 4 or 5 miler (or 10k ( 6.2 miles)  if knees tell me they can do the training)

I will give £20 to Charity for each one of those i don't complete.

By far i think the press up is the hardest, road race 2ND hardest, weight 3rd, with burpee challenge doable.

This should give me enough to aim for and keep my motivated.

Did a 10k run this morning, went out at 6:30 nice chill in the air, by 7:00 it was pretty warm. Last 4k really hard. Having 4 hours sleep then running with no fuel doesn't help!!!
Forecast for Sunday is it to be around 19-20 degrees by 10:30, the race start time. Really not looking forward to it.

OK did the video of the 10 min deadman burpee thing tried to load it to utube took for ever then failed, Will try again but away for  WE so will have a go Monday.  However did complete 56 so just over half the way to the target of 100.  Also had my Friday weigh in,  lost another 2 Ib so 6Lb in total of the stone i need to lose. Think it will slow down this week.

Gl all with your own challenges.

Okay. On Monday I weighed 15st 4lb
Will be following original plan but gonna aim for 14st, so 18lb in 8 weeks.
Will make Sunday Nov my final weigh in day.
£20 per every lb not achieved to a local charity.

To put this in context I haven't weighed at low as 14st for 12 years, the 14st 7lb I reached for the last challenge was as low as I have been!!!
