Destroyed the treadmill.

Did 60 minutes burning 833 cals.

Reached my 5km in 48.00 and 6km in 58.50.

No personal trainer today but got him tomoz for some weights and will do 30mins on treadmill beforehand.

Visited health trainer today and have lost weight since last time i saw her but she still insist that ur only meant to have 1 banana a day. just told me the obv really.

She did ask about how i was getting on and i said id like to lose weight this time by good fodder and exercise but she would recommend me to stage 3-5 of the program if i were to need it with stage 5 being surgery.

My minds on it this time so lets doooooo thisssss!

As long as you hit your macros for the day it doesn't matter if you have 10 meals or 2, it's just a case of finding a way that works best for you.

If anyone wants to work out their BMR and then work out what their requirements are per day to maintain, cut  then I've got a simple calculator that's easy to use and works everything out for you.

Shoot me a PM with your email and I'll fire it over Smiley

Well done Girgy, but thats a lot of calories for a 4mile jog at little over fast walking pace?

Or am I getting mixed up, thought it would be between 500-650?

the treadmill says for accurate calories enter your weight which i entered 150kg so id say it was close to being right tbh.

Had a craving for Haggis today don't know whats wrong with me ever since the Edinburgh UKIPT I've had it at least once a month, is it mainly fat not checked out the content? Had it with an omelet and chicken leg lol
Getting weighed at slimming world tomorrow and that probably hasn't helped but overall been a good week, upped the exercise and feels loads better in myself.

Try this it is very good, slightly less calories but about 1/2 the fat than the meat version.

Have found it really tough today, my mate at work is trying to bulk up so is eating loads and I was almost tempted to get a prawn mayo sandwich from m&s ... It wouldn't have been the end of the world but desperate to keep this tight during the first month and with a big weekend coming up need to keep on top of things.

How does everybody else stay on the straight and narrow when surrounded by temptation?

I'm trying to think "how will I feel in 30 mins" as that seems to get me through.

I fucked up today really, had an unexpected stressful day at work(still working now lol) and ended up scoffing 1500 calories, which isn't the end of the world but probs 2-300 more than I wanted and a lot of the wrong stuff, bread etc.. Planned to go to the gym, but just couldn't in the end cus of work shafting me.

Back on it properly tomorrow and 100% doing gym!

I'm only a week in but was pretty tempted yesterday. I had to go out for a meeting and ended up right by one of those West Cornwall Pasty shops. Not particularly amazing stuff but not had one in ages and really just fancied one.
I think I dealt with it in a pretty similar way to you. I know my old man is coming down to London tomorrow and wants to meet up for something to eat before he gets the train back. I'm not going to go mad but I don't think I can control calories as well when eating out. I sort of thought if I'm breaking the routine on Friday I can't afford to do it before then so came back for my soup.

To put it in perspective Woodsey to put 1lb on you need to eat 3500 calories over maintenance so I wouldn't sweat it m8. Do an extra 10mins on the bike or something if you feel that guilty Smiley

Ok using the gucci excel calculator a friend sent me I have managed to get some exact numbers and surprisingly enough I wasn't too far off with how I was eating the last few days.

My BMR is 2139

At present I am sedentary so my requirement to maintain is 2567

In theory to lose 1lb a week I obviously drop to 2067 and for 2lbs 1567

I'm going to aim for a roughly 50/25/25 split between proteins/carbs/fats, if somedays carbs are a bit lower I'll just up the protein or eat some peanut butter

Anyway as above to drop 2lbs I need to eat 1567 which at my breakdown of 50/25/25 is

Protein 196g

Carbs 98g

Fats 43g

I'm not gonna worry if I go a little over that as I'll still be dropping weight eating what is said to be 1k under maintenance. Those are the guidelines and I've been quite near to them the last couple days anyway. Started off with a decent loss over the first week and a half so will play it by ear. If I'm not dropping weight by next week from the 226lbs then I'll twiddle with the ratios somewhat and probably lower the carbs.

Diet 12/01/12

Chilli with 250g Mince
Chicken Breast 150g
Lamb Cubes 150g
Pitta Bread x2
100g Herring Roe
Choc/Banana Shake
1/2 Pro 50

Protein 205g
Carbs 91g
Fats 51.5g

Cals 1647

Made up a choc/banana mix protein shake that was recommended to me sometime ago and it tasted ace. Made it up using 1scoop Propeptide Choc and 1 scoop Tempro Banana  mixed with water to keep cals down.

Off to Ireland next weekend for my works do at this gaff www.dromoland.ie where there are loads of activities on including golf, clay pigeon shooting and obviously drinking. Given that I'm not really in condition to do anything on the golf course but drive the buggy and nobody is likely to want me getting hold of a gun I will mostly be participating in the drinking side of things Cheesy

I'll weigh myself on Friday morning before I go and again on Monday night when I get home. Hopefully I won't have done too much damage but given the last time I had a drink was almost 2 months ago I'm not sure that quantity of alcohol will be a problem. The meals may well be though as the dinners that are planned over the 3 nights look pretty special!!
