Hi all! Ive just read a few of these posts and to lose weight is simple, you need to lose more calories than you put in (food & drink lol). Ive been 13half to 14 stones in weight for the last 20 years and its down to exercise. Do any sport: eg golf, run, cycle, gym, swim or just watch what you eat. Ive always played football and run 10k roughly a week and can run under 7 mins a mile comfotably. If you cant do this just run a mile a day at any pace then walk for 5mins rest then repeat or sprint for 20 seconds then rest and repeat five times. It might hurt at first but believe me when you get use to this you will get stronger and it will become fun. If you stay determined and dont give up the weight will fall off AND eventually you will be able to eat WHATEVER you want, trust me on this and remember exercise is to enjoy!!!!!!!  also if you go down the gym remember to do a few weight exercises to keep the muscles strong and dont forget to stretch before and after training   thumbs up

LOL if it was that simple there would be no fat people  Grin

Why the LOL? It really is that simple.

For some people it will happen faster or slower but you don't need to be a genius to work out that if you consume less than you use you simply MUST lose weight.

The LOL is for assuming everyone has the willpower and control, clearly that is not the case or there wouldn't be fatties like us  Grin

The mind is the most powerful part of your body, I 100% believe all weight-loss/exercise is down to your mindset.

Agree 100% mate  Smiley

Choc/Banana Protein Shake
2 Burgers
150g Sweet Potato
1/2 Pro 50
200g Herring Roe
MP Cookie
Choc/Banana Protein Shake

Protein 208.5g
Carbs     79g
Fats       45.5g

Cals 1583

Was quite lazy today and only ate 2 meals topping up with shakes/bars, took delivery of some biscuits I ordered before xmas and had forgotten about. They're owned by the company I buy my chicken/steak online from and had a promo offer which I snapped off without reading properly. They turned up so I guess part of my weekend cheat is going to be sampling those and will account for a couple thousand cals. My old man is obviously rubbing his hands together though and I don't see them making it to see next weekend once he dives in Cheesy

Stuck to everything well this week, but I am feeling the first signs of resistance. I am more tempted to hit the usual trap foods (cereal & bread) and tired from the gym. However, I am (probably a little bit too) optimistic ahead of the weigh-in tomorrow, which is spurring me on (and hopefully wont ruin everything if it goes tits up) - hoping for a solid 2lbs loss.

They are now saying two slices a of bacon a day gives you cancer. My usual breakfast of bacon sandwich and cigarette isn't looking the best. However, they also say tomatoes reduce the risk of cancer so I'm only having red sauce from now on.

yep, thought so, lol. it kinda amused me that you were saying how easy it was then came out with a weight you've been at for 20 years that would probably make you overweight, at least if you use bmi. on the whole though your post made sense
