Tikay, I know I have £30 of your money, but if you ask me to put it on united this weekend then we have problems.

In related news, Sterling has signed his new contract. Great news indeed.
Fred again has him 66/1 for top scorer, and he's well in the mix. I'm sure the bookies will adjust eventually but if he keeps getting priced up at 66/1 or thereabouts it should be an auto-bet every year.

united as big as 17/2 on victorbet now.
I'd never back it for obv reasons
but there is definitely some value there for neutrals or value hunters. Incred to see them at that price in a Premier League game, it really shows how much they have regressed since SAF left.
Whatever happens Sunday, they are firmly in our rear view mirror, have been for a few years and will continue to be for many years.
I really can’t understand fans who refuse to oppose their club. If United were a million to one, surely you’d back them then? I’ll often bet even more in matches that feature the teams I support, as I follow my own teams more closely

Older readers amongst us - Ralph, Boo, Blakey, Chomps etc, will have fond memories of Chelsea's great 'keeper Peter Bonetti, he was THE main man in those days.
Now, aged 77, he has Alzheimer's.
Ghastly illness.

The Cat.
Probably deserved a few more England caps.

Would need at least 2 million to one
It's one thing to oppose City, its another thing entirely to oppose City at home to united. I think the latter are good value at 17/2, but I'll be six feet under before I'd back united in a derby game.

Nope, I'm with Mr Unpronounceable here, if I was to back Satan's 2nd 11 against Celtic the money would feel tainted. Of course thankfully nowadays that's a really bad bet, but even so with Stevie G rapidly descending from Football Hero to F*%@+"% Bastard in the eyes of the hordes. There's always another bet that isn't patently wrong.

This photo appeared on Twitter - it's Eddie Howe & the Bournemouth "backroom staff". Jeez, there are around 40 of them, what do they all do, & how much is the wage bill for that lot?
And if that's the Bournemouth backroom staff, just imagine how many Man City have?

If betting on X result is value, bet it. That simple for me. Quite happy to cheer for it to lose. Only betting on what you want to happen and not betting on what you don't want to happen are the Ugly Sisters of the Punting Panto.

I think Baydar got 6th, so not too much damage done.

Yup, was happy enough with the outcome, we were close to break-even.
