Quite alright. The new Arts Bod should be making Sunday night fun, anyway.

No way. You remain as Arty Bloke. I can shout at you, I can't shout at Channing, he just laughs at me.

We should continue this conversation. I'm playing a £40er at the Broadway and hit a rather sick 2-outer on the turn with 66 on a 55363 board to get a river raise somehow paid off by TT. Villain not impressed.
I think it's Fred's influence. They think I have gamble.

The Boundaries Bet, New Zealand v England, B-B-B.
We have PRESSED.
We have had a further £42 @5/6, William Hill, OVER 54.5 boundaries. Think the original bet was over 53.5.
Mr Channing prompted the press, but the bet is down to Tighty, who just suggested "a chunky bet".
So we have just over £100 invested on that bet. Gulp.

New Zealand 11-3 after 7 and a bit overs. Long way back.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

This cricket bet could be dead in the water unless these Kiwis show a bit of backbone

Another day, another...interesting 20bb 3-bet-shove exit hand. Gone 'orribly wrong and I'm now back home.
I should probably stick to slightly -EV sports betting.
26/117 but it wasn't to be.

As for the matter in hand, there is always hope:
Jeremy Coney - BBC Test Match Special
"I don't like the angle this pitch is on since this stadium was redeveloped for the Rugby World Cup. There's always going to be a short boundary somewhere, but in the old days, it was regarded as a left-hander's ground as you could hit a pick-up shot for six. Here, a good ball could be hit for six. Someone like Finn is more comfortable, but the New Zealand bowlers who don't have his height and bounce may get hit."

Marky posted this on the NBA betting thread, very Moneyball-esque style of gambling, pretty fascinating in general on punting rather than just basketball, and ofc he's a fine poker player too - Haralabob, apparently the world's best NBA bettor

Mccullum apart, nz were terrible. Spineless stuff on a great pitch with tiny boundaries. Gutted really, a real outlier to get rolled out for under 200 on that. Would be totally confident if I had the same bet tomorrow
