Celtic playing some ok football, but as I thought no cutting edge. St Johnstone have created a few half chances but only tested Craig Gordon once. It's going to be a long season unless our board get the cheque book out and add some quality.
why should they? win the league at a canter with whatever xi they put out from the current squad only need to invest if they ever get a challenge again, and three of the teams who long term might do that are out of the league/financially stifled huge team in a tiny league. different story if came to England Because we face embarrassment in Europe if we don't, we don't look capable of winning the league at a canter with current XI and it looks like we're going to lose VVD. If they don't invest now when it comes time to invest it might be too late. This could be another Mowbray. Never going to be going to England. It's a pipe dream if it was ever going to happen it would have materialised by now. Just out of interest do many fans want to play in the English leagues or is it media hype? I think many fans want competition. My personal opinion is no, as much as it would be fun we should be concentrating our effort in making our own game strong. My personal preference would be for a complete overahul and try and bring some of what they have in America to Scotland. There are some clubs who just shouldn't be in a professional league due to the way they are currently run and they should be consigned to history.

The general consensus amongst Cardiff City fans regarding Swansea is that they suffered badly last season with injuries and the UEFA Cup and there's no chance whatsoever of them having a bad a season this year as they did last year. That's from people who hate them with a passion. I've had a bet on Swansea on the handicaps and if Gomis has a first season like Michu did then I think they'll do great.
I should point out I follow neither as I'm an oval ball type of Guy.

Spurs will be doing a deadline day push on Bony. Might be too late for them to bring in a replacement.

I doubt Pulis will leave over this, I really do. I think Parish will just get on with signing Cork and give way pretty quickly on Zaha if Pulis isn't keen. Interesting that this story has seen the light of day and I wonder who would have leaked it.

Well huge cries from people that Pulis has done this to put Parish into order as apparently he has a history of it.
Edit - And now it has snowballed into a bit of a hyped media frenzy. I remain calm, but deep down a little worried here.

Notts were put in by Middlesex. They get 368/2 off 45. Lumber 81 off 104, Hales 141/96, Taylor 100/55, Patel 37/15.
Is that in the "good toss to lose" category?
Just saw a crystal palace forum where the Pulis to leave thread is 26 pages long. That's some chunter!

Not for Fred but century to be scored in tonight's CPL @10's is a deffo bet. Few more century candidates than yesterday.
Scy ool with res same reasoning as yesterday. Same ground plus Simmonds/guptill real chances as well as gayle for a ton.

Saints will not want to sell Cork.
At the moment he is the only person who can cover for Clyne at right back and provides depth in midfield. He was excellent off the bench last season as well. I don't think £3 million will be enough despite only having a year left on his contract. Would just be a pain having to go out and sign someone else.
Saints papers saying no bids received as of yet and club is not interested in selling.
