That's written by Karl Rove. It might as well have been Glen Beck!

I'm very bullish on Obama Rich, increasingly so, & the Market agrees.

http://www.oddschecker.com/specials/politics-and-election/us-presidential-election/winner

If he were not so short, I'd go in again.

Obama has got "lucky" with Hurricane Sandy, and his Government's speedy reaction & rapid response aid in both resource & money has met with overwhelming approval compared to what voters think of Romney's stance on Sandy.  It's a bit of an odd thing, but Sandy might end up being the thing that swings it. A multi-trillion budget defecit? Who cares, if Ma & Pa have had their home flooded, & they get the right noises from the Government - whoever they are - they are happy.

I trust the Betfair price more than Karl Rove.

Can someone explain the price on Liverpool this weekend to me because I don't understand it.  I have looked at it again and again and I cannot comprehend it.

Simple really : They are at home, and since 'That One Night In Instanbul' (affectionally known as Tonii), bookies seem to still think they are world beaters.

I think its 'mug' Asian money. Pool are still one of the best supported teams in Asia.
They were 1/3 against Reading, I reckon they should have been 4/6, here they are 8/13 and it should possibly be 16/13. It's crazy but there it is. Lay them, lay them, lay them.

Frankie Gavin v Junior Witter

Gavin has 10 KOs in 13 fights but that flatters him as all his stoppages were against journeymen or fighters with suspect chins (McIntyre and Lomax).  His two toughest tests have been against a shot Young Mutley and a game but limited Curtis Woodhouse (ex- Sheffield Utd) where he was taken the 12 rounds on both occasions.  He is not a big puncher and relies more on accumulation of punches rather than one punch KO power (all his stoppages were by TKO rather than KO).  Witter is way past his best but proved last time out against Lynes he still has a bit left in the tank, although he will struggle to win rounds against Gavin who has a far higher punch output.  He is rarely pleasing on the eye and has a horrible style which involves spoiling and clinching and is difficult to catch cleanly.  I think he will be competitive in this for the first 3 or 4 rounds before Gavin takes command with his superior movement and work rate.  Witter though has always had a decent set of whiskers on him (never been stopped) and has enough ringcraft and know how to spoil his way to the final bell.  I expect this to be painful on the eyes with Gavin cruising to a wide UD, something like 118-110.  Ladbrokes have Gavin by UD at 6/4.  I couldn't have him much bigger than evens.  Recommend £40 @ 6/4.

This is a very good bet imo and just about the only thing that will make watching "funtime Frankie" fun.

Like the analysis, Bazzaboy. Frankie's a better boxer on his day than he is given credit for, but he's had a lot of troubles out of the ring.

Hall Green boy (he says, typing in Hall Green Smiley ), so I have a little bias.

Witter is dangerous because of his experience but part of me thinks [horrific cliché] Frankie's biggest danger is himself [/horrific cliché]

As a point of interest for us mug punters, how do you calculate Evens as opposed to 6/4?

some breeders cup analysis and thoughts tikay i will leave any bet amounts to you

I really like Zagora in the F&M Turf http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/ante-post-racing/breeders-cup/breeders-cup-filly-and-mare-turf. This isn't an easy race for European horses to win and I don't think The Fugue is as good as any of the previous winners, although she looks a perfect type for the race. Zagora is too, though - she's got an excellent turn of foot and ran a massive figure in the Ballston Spa. Needs firm ground, but still ran great on yielding behind Nahrain last time. 20/1 looks offensive. Don't like Ridasiyna at all - conditions will be different in every regard from Longchamp.

I liked how Flashy Ways did the job last time. Got the perfect trip there, but quickened up well and powered through the line. Might be tricky to beat Sky Lantern - not a bad price herself at - but she's 16s or so and worth a chance. http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/ante-post-racing/breeders-cup/breeders-cup-juvenile-fillies-turf

Finally, thought George Vancouver could move up massively now he encounters firm ground. Ran as well as could be expected last time, and I consider his form to be the best. Mile should be ok on a sharp track. http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/ante-post-racing/breeders-cup/breeders-cup-juvenile-turf
