Milkins wins 4-1, & our snooker bet gets home with some to spare.

Worth re-reading Tighty's analysis of the bet, too, amazingly perceptive.

Well done Tighty.

Lots of value in this tourney I think. Was gonna tip Doherty yesterday but was busy and forgot all about it.
The Indian player who beat Murphy actually looks pretty decent and took out some very good shots, both attacking and safety. Hopefully it gets put down as a freak win and he is overpriced next round.

agree with that. His safety (as befitting a billards world champion) had Murphy in knots, which doesn't happen often

the markets are over-estimating the name players and prices are too short when the format really pays you to punt the form outsiders in the early stages eg Selby got punted out 4-0 by Joe Perry earlier

I keep forgetting to put them up as well!

Yes, agreed Kuku.

If someone puts a suggestion up - quickly - including how we use the In Play bet, I'll get on.

Hi Tony,

Sorry I didn´t get back to you with a suggestion for this, had a few mates round for the game and was getting the beers in and missed your post. I´ll try to keep an eye on things to try and make sure we always get something on each time this offer is available.

Haven't caught up with all of Fred, so if others have reccomended I apologies; I know Tighty has given his read on the Bet 365 deal - however here is mine.  Assuming we buy into the fact that Real Madrid are too short at 4/7 with 365 I plan to do the following:-

£50 Man Utd Asian +1 at 2.050

As game kicks off - £50 Man United - tradityional handicap +1 currently 7/5 - this is the free bet treated that is refunded if it is a loser

So basically, if I have this right

If Man U win or draw - stake £100, return £222.50
If Real win by one goal - stake £100, return £100
If Real Madrid win by 2 or more stake £100 return £50 free bet

Look good to me albeit a bit nitty

Unless I am misreading this, if Real Madrid win by one goal, then half the Asian HC bet is refunded, but will not trigger the refund of the £50 loser bet

Sorry - half a mistake, I was rushing out. yes half the asian bet refunded; however the second bet would have been refunded; its the in-play bet that is a free bet if a loser regardless of the first result, studiedT&Cs

Anyway, both copped - Fred would have been better off to the tune of £50@ 13/8 and £50 ay 2.05 Smiley

A winner i havent got on the spreadsheet - dam

I think we are a good bet today above evens,  6/5 @ Fred and Tote.

We've played much better recently and Metalist haven't had a competitive game in months. They had a warm up game on Sunday against non league Whitley Bay, Whitley had a game the previous day yet Metalist only managed a 1-1 draw. (Not putting too much emphasis on this, just saying)

Not including the intertoto cup we're unbeaten at home in Europe in our last 22 games, winning 18 of them.

I thought we'd be a shade below evens so think this is a good bet.

Thoughts from the pros plz ?

Just to add Metalist won there group, won four, drew one and lost one, they lost in a meaningless final away game, they beat Rosenborg in Norway and got a draw in Leverkusen so are no mugs.

Not really a view on Newcastle as such but think being against the Russian and Ukranian sides makes sense because of the rest issues

Worth noting that, last season, Metalist demolished Salzburg 8-1 in aggregate in the first knockout phase.

Salzburg not anywhere near same level as Newcastle but it shows that Metalist have the capacity to very quickly blow off the cobwebs..

i think metalist have prepared very well for this

they are a very good side was very impressed with them against leverkusen

in theory i agree they may tire late on if i was playing in the game i would look at betting some late goals however that may be

Just woken to find Van Zyl leader by 1 in Scottish links type conditions in SA. Few holes to go, but if he can scramble home in these conditions will be the ideal start.
