Mr T.
In the IPL today Delhi Dare Devils play Sunrisers Hyderabad. Delhi are yet to win a game and there are doubts about whether Sehwag will be fit for today. Hyderabad are a new franchise and have won 2 of their 3 games and look solid but not spectacular but do have Dale Steyn leading the bowling attack. Delhi are priced as favourites at 1-2 and the 13/8 we can get for Hyderabad is too high. I think what we have here is the IPL equivalent of the Liverpool affect.
Hectors betting criteria suggests a cup cake on Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Suggest £20 Sunrisers @ 13/8 with Betfred.
Superb!
We have One Cupcake on the Sunrisers Hydrebad.
£20 @ 13/8, Betfred, Sunrisers Hydrebad to beat Delhi Daredevils.
ON
Market Selection Price Hcp
Delhi Daredevils v Sunrisers Hyderabad
Match Prices
Sunrisers Hyderabad 13/8
Total stake £ 20.00
Estimated return £ 52.50
Full stake £ 20.00
Full estimated return £ 52.50
Good shout, was gonna put this up. Prices should be other way round. Another £20?

Maldini if the prices should be the other way round Kelly suggests we should have 38% of our whole roll on. So £1900 if we got 5k. If we half it to play conservatively then just call it £950 Tikay

Blame redarmi, I been playing round with the Kelly thing for a while and it probably shows us we a) way overestimate our edges in stuff and b) we underbet our strong opinions.

For example if we could get 5/4 about an evens chance that represents a 10% Roll bet, half is 5% which is less than our max bet. But imagine how many times people have put a bet up they believe should be evens and is 5/4 or equivalent, then look at how many we had a max on.
Obviously everyone overestimates their edge and we under bet even more than neccesary

But surely, the neat - and crucial - part is being able to recognise when 5/4 is available about an Even money chance? That is subjective, is it not?

not on Mondays and Fridays
Yes of course thats the key, but luckily we live in a world of tons of information. We basically should be having a ton more each way horse bets, particularly whilst we still can. Dont even have to do much research either but if a decent judge also doesnt fancy the fav, can make it a really strong bet. Unfortunately i dont know that much about horse racing these days, but think enough people do on here to surely increase our number of wagers on it, we should be having several bets minimum a day on it

IPL Day 9 update:
Yesterday was definitely more positive than negative, despite our man Owais not getting a game. His team Rajasthan lost to our boys Pune, which will hopefully prompt a chance in selection. This seems even more likely given one of their overseas players Kusal Perera got a golden duck. Pune again neglected to pick Luke Wright so he made no headway and Eoin Morgan only did marginally better recording 2 in his innings during Kolkata's defeat to Bangalore.
Pune's win snapped an 11 game losing streak so hopefully they'll push on from here and get on a winning streak. Definitely got the talent in the squad to beat most team.
Today's game sees Delhi against The Sunrisers of Hydrabad and we've got the Sunrisers to get the job done. I can't disagree as the depleted Daredevils are in disarray. They are missing key players in every department and have lost their first three games, turning in meek performances. The bookies seemed to have priced them on former glories so we're getting the best of it.
